The Roof

During a time when many others are experiencing loss, lack, and a decrease, God showed His favor, faithfulness, and unconditional love and I was granted a raise! The Man and I celebrated my increase at a beautiful restaurant with the perfect ambiance, delicious food, tasty drinks, and a DJ who kept us singing and dancing in our cozy little booth. Oh... and did I mention it is BLACK OWNED!!!
WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!

I just recently made reservations for a dinner party of about 18. The service was kinda of slow. I thought they would have put tables together for my large group but the didn’t we were at three separate tables. My sister who order the Banderino fish entree didn’t come out to her until 30 minutes after everyone else received their food. Once she got it was not to her expectations. Also I was disappointed because they were out of lamb chops which is one of the reasons I chose to com their.

Nice location, the view is beautiful and perfect for pictures, sadly we waited an hour to be seated for my party of 8, we got terrible service and still had to pay 20% gratuity, we got spoiled orange juice for my child’s drink & his food came out late, my food was disappointing, my family got locked outside, & my sister is pregnant 🤦🏽‍♀️. Thankfully my party made the best of the night but 2 outta ten I wouldn’t recommend.

The service and atmosphere were great. However, the food needs to measure up the same. For the price, my food was not well seasoned, and the amount of food on the plate was not worth the price. I don't mind paying if the food is worthy of the price. Very Disappointing.

1. Despite having a reservation, upon my arrival no one was at the podium, no staff wouldn't make eye contact or even acknowledge my presence at the podium; I went over to someone and ask if I should seat myself? The couple standing behind me just left..
2. There is zero "0" social distancing seating!!
3."LOUD" night club music played during Sunday Brunch, to the point you had to lean-in and yell just talking to the person sitting in front of you. The DJ was walking around no mask.
I paid $18 person for "bottomless" Mimosa's but had to flag someone for refills.
4. The Food was good,, however my guests received a burnt waffle, we asked for a new one, but it didn't arrive until I asked for the check (I was discounted $5.)
The restroom was out of both toilet paper & paper towels, I had to use toilet seat covers for "both" drying experiences and to grab the door knob.. All during this pandemic ZREO SOCIAL DISTANCING!!!!
5. Poor directional signage to get up to the place.

Really great food and service. The Tomahawk pork chop was superb. The fried seafood platter was substantial and chef Derian accommodated one of our guests with a Vegan grilled vegetable platter upon request. The gumbo was the best I have ever had. Enjoy cocktails on the deck over the lake after dinner. Highly recommend it.

We were celebrating my youngest daughters graduation from Law school. Very nice vibe. Enjoyable experience.

it was really a 2.5 the food that you'd think taste good didn't taste good at all .. no season on majority (65%) for as much as we paid won't be coming back maybe for brunch but this food wasn't it at all

I attended a birthday party here. The music was awesome and the drinks were good. I ordered the shrimp and grits which were flavorful yet different. Stop by and give them a try.
