The brunch was so delicious, that we went back the very next day with our son. And, such an intimate sidewalk patio to boot! Go give this place a shot. Two thumbs way up!

Not a terrible visit, but I won't be back.
Service: not bad, servers were cordial and polite. That said, I don't understand why I'm tipping them if a robot is doing a significant portion of their job.
Food: very poor. I paid $13 for limp, plain "tacos". No salt, pepper, taste of any kind. Literally eggs, a single slice of avocado, and a flour tortilla...3 of them. Absolutely ridiculous. I don't mind paying, but it still needs to be worth it. And it certainly needs to be better than what I can make at home.

The coffee was good, however, I saw numerous reviews and mentioning in several articles that they do intricate designs on the coffee. The fun twist on the coffee was the only reason we chose to come here for breakfast. They do not do any of the designs I saw online, they do a leaf and a “swan”. I was initially highly underwhelmed. Nonetheless, the coffee was good and the sweet potato hash was delicious.

I rated Layered with 3 stars. Not bad, and not great. The most memorable thing about the experience was our server Savannah. She was fabulous. I tried the chicken and waffles and it was extremely sweet. It was like eating crystallized sugar. The bacon was of average quality and a tad over cooked. The Migas were ok, just nothing to write home about. The pancakes were wonderful. I highly recommend those.
