The coffee is very good, the food is pretty decent. I ordered an iced white mocha with their chicken and waffles, the prices are very cheap and reasonable. The coffee was delicious, perfectly balanced with sweetness, bitterness, super creamy and tasty, the chicken on the waffles was a little bland and was chicken off the bone by the way, but the waffles tasted very, very good, usually I don't like waffles, but I'd order their waffles any day, they were crunchy, fluffy and sweet. All in all it was decent, I love their coffee though, I really want more, but they close so early. Also they use a super high tech robot to help carry food around the place to the tables and when it heads back it has a kitty face on it (see in pics) so that looked really cool and is very unique, the waiter was very kind and helpful and the music was good.

The good:
* The food selection is pretty good. The food is tasty and fresh. They have both full plates or smaller dishes.
* Our server was very attentive. You can get
Mimosas refill for $1.
*They have full bar, and a very good selection of coffees as well.
* This place is located right in the Downtown quarter, so it’s a good location if you are interested in looking around.

The not so good:
*The place is on the smaller side but with a modern and eclectic vibe. They asked us to vacate our table as soon as we paid, bc they had reservations they needed to seat (I understand that) but it’s a bit no no for me (personally).
*Parking may be an issue because of the prime location, but there is free street parking up to 3 hours.

Good vibes for this place. Ordered vegan and sweet potato hash brown with no meat. Came out really well. Electronic robot serving brining the food but a server coming behind them to actually serve so I guess that’s for just to get attention. Busy place so it took little longer to get food .

Suggestions: could have more choice for vegetarian and vegan in the menu and the server could take order little faster.

We went here for breakfast and everyone enjoyed their food. The service was fast and good. We didn’t wait long to order. The food was delivered by a robot. Pretty cool to see the bot moving. Coffee was delicious. Highly recommend and will come back.

Very nice place to have breakfast. Kids love the place too as Robot was bringing the food for them. We ordered Avocado sandwich, Waffle, and croissant with eggs and some coffee. Just that when we ordered coffee and asked the server we didn’t like it, he get another coffee for us but charged for the unlike one too. We end up paying for both the coffees.

We had the Belgian waffles and Layered Breakfast. It was brought to us by an electronic robot! So cool! The food was tasty and timely! I highly recommend the hot cocoa and “not so” bottomless mimosas.

We had a large party and were able to make a reservation...this made the visit seamless for a Saturday morning brunch. Service was great, the food was good, and the atmosphere was nice. The only negatives, were that the air-conditioning duct does drip condensation on you if seated underneath it, and no sugar free syrup option for diabetic patrons. Coffee was perfection, and the robot food delivery was entertaining.

Walking in Downtown McKinney and LAYERED caught our attention..people sitting on patio drinking mimosas. We ate inside and loved what we ordered. Must say best latte I’ve ever had!! Great staff, excellent customer service. One of the best places to eat in Downtown McKinney.

My wife and I love this spot! The coffee and food are amazing. The staff here is super friendly and the owner is super involved with the day to day operations. Every time we come here for brunch or lunch we have a great experience. Cool fact about this spot, it turns into a speak easy at night(which we also love)!

Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Order sweet potato hash and it was delicious.
Great selection on their food menu.
Not many seat with electric outlet if you need to charge devices.
