Hooper's

This little cafe is homey. Burger and eggs were excellent! Meatloaf was good. It is a cool place to visit if you are a fan of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre".

Since they have changed the menu and dropped some of the items it's alot different. Liked how it used to be. Greg was the best bartender ever. Miss him alot.

Definitely will miss Grand Central Cafe. We have been coming here for years and it's not even close to what it use to be. I like to refer to an old saying, DONT FIX WHAT AINT BROKE. Well Hooper's is definitely broke. Dont waste your time or money. So so sad

Great food and very cool atmosphere. Only complaint is I would like real silverware and cups. Currently using plastic which makes it feel cheap and wasteful.

Had the fish and chips. Not much flavor in the fish, french fries were cold and dry. Brisket tacos had a lot of fat.

Since the new owners took over, the food took a nose dive. I hope they get it turned around. Service and atmosphere are still great.

This place disappointed not one, but 9 people. The staff was rude. The food was awful. The experience we went for was not this. Menu options were lacking, but probably best since they fed us bowls from a truck. They also charged their own tip so they felt no need to care about service or quality. 9 out of 9 would recommend not going.

So there is new ownership and the menu changed. It’s okay. Stay away from The loaded fries. Terrible!!! They come with regular cheese and stuck in oven so they are REALLY dry. The owners don’t care enough to use a queso or hot cheese so it’s very subpar. Food so far was better before new ownership. Love the people and love the workers. I will keep you apprised of the food and hopefully you won’t make mistakes like I did.

Such a great night we had and Cade was an amazing singer. Greg the bartender was fantastic. Such an amazing person with a fantastic personality & prompt service which is hard to find these days. WILL FOR SURE BE BACK to see Greg again. Thank you for such a great time.

Quick seating that is adequately spaced to feel comfortable eating inside. Great coffee but you may need patience to get a spoon if you take cream or sugar. The food, we had breakfast, was yummy as always. We stop here for breakfast whenever we are in the area and are never disappointed!
