Good food.... eventually. Came in for brunch on a Sunday and they were definitely busy but servers were few and far between. The service was good when our waitress had time to get to us but they seemed terribly understaffed. When I did get my burger it was really good but the oily, soggy, undercooked fries were a disappointment.

Went this morning and had eggs Benedict but they substituted regular bacon for Canadian bacon, meh. Wife had grilled chicken salad but chicken was cold. Note that this used to be the best place in a three county area and we looked forward to eating here every week. Came a month or so ago after the new owners reopened and had a grisly rib eye and reheated baked potato.
Wish them well and hope they get better soon.

New owners???!!! We are happy they kept most of the previous staff, but the menu went to the gutter. We always came for the ahi tuna appetizer and drinks. We love the property and have stayed here for every anniversary. What a bummer. Can't wait for Flights to open in Burnet for some decent local food.

The food is great and the staff are friendly. All that I am frustrated about is the wait. We waited for an hour. No food is worth the wait but It awesome being in the house in which they filmed the Chainsaw Massacre.Heads up, it’s cold!

I wanted to love this restaurant, but the food wasn’t up to par. We ordered the artichoke dip, at $11, it was rather small and served with burnt baguettes. The chicken fried chicken was good, but the portions for $17 were small.

We drove from Austin to see this house from Texas chainsaw massacre Movie. Took a sandwich and a couple of drinks and it was a very nice place to spend time at.

The only thing that deserves stars was the weight staff! The food was like it was made for a nursing home but would have destroyed the dentures of anybody with that tough chicken fried steak. At least the running mashed potatoes would have been fine on dentures.

Took 10 mins to get our non alcoholic drinks. Steak came out extremely under cooked, had to have it thrown back on the grill. Pasta was dry, our server was all over the place. Never checked on us only came by after we waved her down to ask for sauce or send the food back. Won’t be returning. Ever.

This was my first time here. I got a large order of pancakes and they were huge. Everyone was really nice to talk to. They encourage you to look around the Texas Chainsaw Massacre house which the Cafe is in. Well worth the drive here.
