The best dining experience in Fort Worth. Great service and awesome wine list

Modernized Italian that's not as foodie as it seemed it would be. Really good spin on traditional dishes. Over-priced a bit for the nature of the food, but still quite good. Menu could use a little expansion but what they do, they do well. Needs a tartufo!!

I was really looking forward to try il Modo, but left feeling very upset. The atmosphere was anything but inclusive. We were given such an awkward table away from the windows and what seemed more like a walkway. Mind you there was a lot of open seating available when we arrived. Still optimistic I hoped the food would make up for the awkward seating. The appetizer and my fiancé’s dish was really good but my salmon was not. Unfortunately, it still had a bones. Needless to say I was not happy when I left. I did want to thank our server Brian he was great and very friendly!

Dined here for our wedding anniversary. Didn't make a reservation as we planned on arriving right as they opened at 5pm for an early dinner. Was told upon entering that without a reservation we could only dine at the bar--small with about maybe 15 seats. We were excited from what we had seen online so we opted for bar seating (mind you there were dozens of open tables in the restaurant as it was barely 5:15pm). Our server at the bar was pleasant, but he compared the red sauce in one of the dishes to "Ragu" which wasn't helpful to our experience. While he offered to answer questions he did not provide enticing answers. Two of the dishes I had been excited about (shrimp scampi and the orecchiette) appeared online but not on the menu--disappointing. I ordered the chicken, my husband the salmon. We didn't have a huge enough appetite to also order pasta. The meatballs were tasty, in a good red sauce. The chicken and salmon were both underwhelming. Neither dish was steaming hot, merely warm; and the potato leek purée was lacking seasoning and I got no real flavor from the chicken aside from the crispy skin. The salmon was well cooked with a crispy skin--however again--underwhelming. We left greatly disappointed overall. We dine at this level of establishment maybe once a year, we will not return nor recommend.

The food was good but the prices are sky high and the service was really slow. The menu has so many non traditional pastas and sauces that the waiter has to explain what the heck they are and that absorbs a lot of their time. The also screwed up our check multiple times. We had a table of six and they gave us only four small slices of bread for the table. In addition some of the entrees like the roast chicken are basically ala carte with no accompanying vegetable or starch. If you love paying $40 for a small bowl of (admittedly delicious) spaghetti and meatballs, this is your place. This is the perfect Italian restaurant for hipsters with more money than sense.

We came to celebrate a birthday with a larger group. The drinks, food and hospitality was fantastic! We loved the entire experience, thank you for a fabulous evening.

Service is very slow. There were 4 servers working including a manager, and still had to seat ourselves. The after 5 min of being ignored, chase people down for service. There were literally only 2 other tables of 2. So many better restaurants in Fort Worth. This place needs to be managed.

Very disappointed with the linguine and risotto that we were served this evening. The restaurant ran out of the clams, calamari and octopus. The linguine was over cooked and not seasoned. The risotto was more than al dente and cold. Not worth the price! Could have made the dishes at home better with ingredients from Central Market. The antipasti were lovely, but not worth the price when considering that there are Italian restaurants in Fort Worth that make them just as good or better at a better price. Ciao, Il Modo. Buona fortuna!

The atmosphere is very nice, but the food was sub-par, especially for the elevated prices.
The risotto was undercooked, the bucatini was overcooked, and the shrimp on the risotto had almost no flavor. Everything needed way more salt, even the salad. It was all very bland. The marinara sauce with the calamari was good, but the food was bland and disappointing overall.

Great food, I had the Crispy chicken sandwich with marinara and pesto.
Definitely recommend coming here.
