Tonight we enjoyed the special Valentine's Day dinner for two experience! Previously we enjoyed sampling many items on the regular menu. Everything was delightful. Service was top notch.

First time dining at iL MODO. Cute low lighting restaurant inside of the Kimpton hotel. We ordered a variety of things to try and eat family style. Patrick was very helpful when it came to explaining and assisting us in choosing out Wine, starters and entrees. Pork belly was crispy and delicious. The red every sauce with small pieces of cherry was one of my favorite things as well as the truffle polenta. Salmon was delicious but the scallops were extremely over done. I believe they were bay scallops which can easily over cook. But over all servers was great and food was impressionable.

On June 25 I chose Il Modo as the place to celebrate my birthday with a few close friends. I’d been to the Kimpton Harper and Refinery 74 a few times, and wanted to try the restaurant out. The appetizer pictured (the calamari) and the cocktails were the only decent part of our meal. Three of us had rigatoni and one had the chicken cacciatore. Our rigatoni was only warm (somewhat) in the middle and literally cold on the outside. The pasta and bolognese around the bowl had no warmth at all, and my friends chicken cacciatore was scorched on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Needless to say I was upset because this was my suggestion and no one’s food was edible. My friend didn’t even want to try to get his chicken cacciatore fixed, he opted for not eating at all. Myself and two of my girlfriends allowed the waiter (who was extremely nice and attentive) to take our rigatoni back to fix it. As we’re waiting one of the managers goes to a table next to us and asks how their night is going and how their meal is. I’m sure she noticed our food going back, but she opted to ask another table about their experience. We got our food back, while it was warmer this time it seems they just heated it up, however two of the entrees barely had any sauce in it and wasn’t appealing to the eye or the palate. I asked for the manager. A different manager from the one we saw earlier came over and politely listened and apologized for our experience. By this time I was so disappointed and disgusted at the whole ordeal I just told her we wanted our tickets, we wanted to leave. She ended up comping the meal for us, I told her and the waiter that that wasn’t necessary but it was appreciated because I wouldn’t come back here after this experience, I was extremely disappointed. Fast forward to today July 5, and I get a parking ticket!!!! The valet parked my Infiniti somewhere he wasn’t supposed to and I’m being told I have to pay $90.00 for a ticket that their valet caused. I’m EXTREMELY upset. Not only will I never eat here again, I’ll make sure none of my friends do either. I will be calling asking to speak to a manager/owner when they’re open. This place isn’t worth it at all. I cannot believe as much as I eat in downtown Ft Worth, that this is my one and only horrible experience. Lesson is definitely learned.

Had an amazing dinner here with my husband and we will definitely be back! So glad they’re here in Fort Worth for locals and tourists alike to enjoy! Pictured we ordered the Bucatini, Filet and the Risotto. I didn’t get a picture before they were devoured but we also ordered the meatballs, clams and tiramisu for dessert! Each item was DELICIOUS and the service was top notch; Jen took excellent care of us and the rest of the staff did an amazing job as well. The decor is classy and modern; well done! Will absolutely be back and bring friends!

We went for dinner with a few friends for a girls night, service and food were amazing! We started at the bar and Brad the bartender was charming and outgoing and his recommendations for the grilled oysters were spot on.

The hostess was just the sweetest little young lady and sat us a a great table.

The service, food, atmosphere… we can’t say enough.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a great dinner spot with friends in downtown Ft Worth.

I had the astounding misstep of requesting 12 shellfish. Be cautioned: Begin with 6! They are immense and flavorful. The crab cake burger was so brimming with astounding flavors and the chips shut each and every spot down. The cocktail had a magnificent kick yet not excessively so #Perfect

So you all again next date day.

We were excited to try il Modo for a birthday dinner. When we arrived we waited at the hostess stand for quite a while before someone asked if we had been helped. We were finally seated and again had to wait a while before someone came by and poured water and took drink orders. Drinks took a long time to arrive. We were finally able to order. I will say dinner arrived fairly quickly. I ordered the agnolotti and it was pretty good, although the pasta could be warmer. My husband ordered the linguine with clams. His noodles were lukewarm and after eating about half he spit out a rock or part of a shell. He also said the clams tasted gritty. We had been done eating for a long time before anyone checked on us.

We told the waitress, who was very kind and did apologize. But she also said “that happens sometimes with clams”. She brought the bill and a manager came by asking about the meal. My husband told him about his meal and the service and said we wanted to pay and leave. The bill came back and nothing else was said to us about our meal or how they could make it right.

I don’t think we will be recommending to friends.

Brian was our server. He was professional and attentive. Had a great time tonight. Started off with some meatballs, had some linguine, a glass of merlot columbia valley, had a prisco champagne, finished off with tiramisu and some other dessert. My buddy and I had a great time. Fort Worth needed this.

Celebrated our wedding here. The food was absolutely fantastic. The flavors were extraordinary. Our waitress was very attentive. As a party of 9 we never felt rushed and fully enjoyed the evening.

AMAZING! The food was excellent and the service was outstanding! We started with the meatballs, so much flavor. The risotto with Rockshrimp and bucatini were cooked to perfection. The best Italian food we have had since Italy! I would recommend making a reservation and checking out the 24th floor bar! We will definitely be back!
