This place is special. I would give it a 4.5 if I could! The only downfall, and it is simply a fact, it is small. Otherwise I would have given it a 5. BUT, if you want good coffee, I mean good coffee, I mean Summer Moon level coffee, this is a place to get it.

The coffee is simply very very good. It has a strong yet smooth flavor, with depth and gentleness. The foam of my Latte was Venice, Italy quality. Seriously, and that is holy ground in terms of coffee.

Love the atmosphere, love the people that served us. Just wish it were bigger. BUT, if you want good coffee, I mean very good coffee, this is the place to get it.

We stopped here to kill time before a dinner reservation. Love the patio area! We tried the new blackberry lemon hibiscus tea. Very tasty.

Got the 32oz Iced Caramel Truffle. It was sweet, and good, but pretty expensive in my view. This was $7.14 after tax, I still prefer DD over all coffees so far in my experience in Austin. They have a point system though that you can sign up for, it's free, and get rewards like $1.50 off your drink. It's a cool place to try once, and if you're rich multiple times, but I can't justify going again.

Been here twice now, I live in the area. Fantastic coffee! Amazing flavor combinations and the staff has been so sweet and helpful. Fast service for takeaway and the atmosphere to hang out and work is great too. There’s a drive through and lots of parking. Only lacking one star because the bathrooms (both times) need some serious TLC.

This location is always dirty and sticky, turn off for me but maybe it’s mostly on the weekends. Service is always good. Coffee is definitely over roasted and meh, fine if you’re into Starbucks type of taste profiles but not if you’re more a Houndstooth or Merit lover.

My first and last BRC experience: I ordered a coffee drink to be delivered via Door dash as a gift to my husband because he works at an animal hospital super early before most coffee shops open. Also, we don't live on the side of town that this is located or we would definitely take advantage of their early store hours. The dasher relayed that the crew was incredibly rude to them , saying that my order was less important than the other customers, making the dasher wait so long that they ended up cancelling the order. This is honestly inexcusable behavior.

The coffee was a bit sweet for me even after asking for half sweet. The Irish coffee was not bad. If I go there again, I will get the Irish latte hot.

I've tried several versions of coffee drinks all are very excellent
They also have a good variety of things to eat like Bagels etc

Found Black Rock on Google Maps & decided to try it out since they weren't the big box chain. I have a food ingredient intolerance but i wanted to order a pastry. They did not have an ingredient or allergen list for the food items they had in the store. I ordered a drip coffee & couple pastries anyway to support. I ate the danish & it was delicious but i probably shouldn't have eaten it. Also, there are not that many seats & outlets inside. There is covered patio seating out front but it was chilly that day & there were no heaters & no outlets outside. I moved on . The coffee was pretty good, though.

Excellent coffee and pastries. Very friendly service. Reasonable prices. Great place to relax with friends or work on your laptop.
