Frothy Monkey

The S’more than a feeling drink was delightful and the bacon in my sandwich was the best bacon I’ve ever had in my life. Would give 6 stars if possible.

I love this place. If you’ve never been, the hype is real. Everything is good. Super slow service last time I was there like really really slow but I’ll let it slide this time.

We have been in Tennessee for 3 days; this has been the best service we've thus far by a long shot. Alvin was great! And the food was phenomenal!

The coffee was amazing (the golden monkey), the food was tasty but I would have preferred more of it on the plate, our waitress was amazing, I highly recommend this place

Service was great..we were there at 10:45 am. I got a sammie and my hubs got an omelet. The bacon on both the omelet and the sandwich could break a tooth. Omelet was kinda skimpy. Coffee was good. Service was terrific, our waiter didn't have many tables, but instead of disappearing, he was very attentive. We sat upstairs. Will try it again. It is a unique place.

Considering how popular they seemed with a big line, the coffee was quite disappointing. We got a turtle latte and a cappuccino that left a lot to be desired. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed help, and the food sounded good though we didn’t get the chance to try it.

The staff took great care of us. I asked if they had a quiet spot where I could do an online meeting, so the host and his mgr gave me a whole room where I was even able to turn down the house music. Andreas checked on us regularly, got our customized orders right down to the last detail. Great coffee, cool space, hospitable service, and a funky vibe. If only they had places to plug in device chargers, the score would’ve been 5+

Great atmosphere. Good coffee and have enjoyed the breakfasts.
Just had dinner there and very happy. Had Chicken Gnocchi and guest had Shrimp and grits. We also tried some mixed drinks which were very different but good. Antipasto cheese plate was excellent.

Bad experience at the monkey. We had attended the Predators Wine Festival at the Bridgestone Arena. At the frothy monkey table they gave us two tickets for a half bottle of wine. So when we finally visited the frothy monkey, we only had one choice on a bottle of wine and it was $54. The manager working that day on Sunday May 21st told us there was one other bottle but he had tasted it and we probably wouldn't like it?? Realize we were never told any price never shown any price?? When we went ahead and placed our order we gave the waiter both of our half-bottle coupons thinking the one whole bottle whatever the price may have been that they've determined not us would have been free because of the two coupons. When we received the bill we were shocked at the price. I looked up the price of the wine and it's $15 yet they charged us $54. I realize there needs to be a markup but not 350%. We asked why only one coupon was applied when nobody objected it on the front end and then on the back end used just the one coupon and never returned the second coupons back to us since it wasn't being used. Just seemed like a bait-and-switch situation where you go in expecting an opportunity to use a coupon and it seemed to me as the price was just doubled up to make it appear like we got a discount. Sadly we will not be back.

This is one of my all time favorites. Great coffee. Excellent breakfast. I had the California. Terrific. Service was very good. Server was extremely nice. And helpful. Definitely want to go back
