We had an amazing dinner and service at Husk during our visit to Charleston. We had tried paying for a family member's meal during their visit as an anniversary gift and gave Husk our card to cover their dinner. They forgot to charge our card. To make it up to us they gave us reservations when we were in town and also included 2 appetizers on the house, dessert and champagne. Every dish we had tasted impeccable and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting plates and drinks. Can't wait to go back next time we're in town!

The Husk is a cool place inside and out. Has a lot of charm. The service was great and food was very good. Something about the seasoning of the my Steak that I was not the biggest fan of. My wife really liked the atmosphere. I included her in the picture. I recommend this place for tourists be sure to make a reservation.

Husk made me appreciate southern food in a way I had never realized before. Everything was executed perfectly, classically, and with an emphasis on the best ingredients. Take for example the butter beans: I’ve never been a beans person, but every single bean was rich and flavorful - with a fun celeriac accent that I thoroughly enjoyed.
The buttermilk biscuit is textbook perfect. It’s moist yet crumbly, having the perfect blend of pepper and buttermilk flavor. The strawberry jam is familiar but just tastes that marginally better due to the quality of the ingredients and the perfection of the process.
The shrimp and grits is a flawless rendition. The shrimp is cooked in a way that emphasizes the natural flavor of fresh shrimp that’s sort of like hargow, while having the awesome Q-texture. The natural grain flavor comes through the not-too-creamy nor gritty grits. This is complemented by the amazing butter beans, and an excellent house made hot sauce that isn’t too potent and doesn’t take over the flavor.

Top rated in Charleston for good reason! There was only one item on the proper menu that was vegetarian, but the chef made us a "vegetable plate", one plate had what seemed to be all of the delicious looking sides to the other plates, and we got a second "vegetable" plate that was pasta with vegetables. The flavors were in redibly well done, and we left full and happy. Highly recommend.

I’ve loved Husk since I tried their pig ear lettuce wraps years ago and their offerings this time around were just as good. We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday all weekend but this dinner was special. We didn’t get our names on the list quickly enough before service so we went to the bar next door and had dinner there since it’s full service. I don’t have one bad thing to say, just wonderful. Next time we’ll make reservations but this experience was just fantastic. Thanks Husk!

Wow wow wow! Words can’t describe the experience. If you can go… GO! Savannah described her go-to items and she didn’t disappoint! Best smoked ribs I’ve ever had. Then we had the swordfish and gs beef and the flavor was on point… unique! Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic dining experience. Leslie was wonderful and took us through all the Gluten-free options on the menu. All service was genuinely wonderful and every staff member who dropped something off checked in with us to see if there was something we needed.
The food was amazing and a great tribute to southern cooking.

A worthy stop on your Charleston food tour. Our dining experience from pictures out front while waiting for our table, to three courses we tried was excellent. Caleb did a great job pointing us towards the pimento cheese, cornbread, and pork appetizers. The catfish, steak and rabbit entrees, finishing with the cheesecake.

We came here for dinner after receiving a notification on Resy that a table had opened last-minute. The staff were very professional. Everything was prepared well. We would probably not choose baked oysters or fried catfish again since the cook method somewhat dilutes the flavor of the seafood. The best parts of the entrees were the Black Sea bass fish and the collard greens. I would highly recommend ordering a side of collard greens if you go. The true unexpected highlight was the key lime pie ice cream. It was rich, dense, and very flavorful with pieces of key lime pie in the ice cream.
On the evening we went the half chicken also looked popular and tasty.

Great Southern food with a modern flair. Each dish was delicious and had wonderful pops of flavor! Our server lacked some confidence but other than that it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend it.
