I was very hyped about dining at this establishment. We got here a bit early and had to wait. We were suggested to visit their bar which didn't disappoint: their drinks were great! When we made it to our table we were shortly greeted by our server. He was fun, pleasant, and knowledgeable of the menu. The food came out fast and was delicious. The dessert was lovely and Husk's suggested wine pairings for it were on point. We'll definitely be coming back.

Came for a dinner, have to have a reservation. The building is really beautiful from the outside, but we were surprised to see that the inside doesn’t match, really bare and plain.
The food however is really good! The chicken starter is great and juicy, the devilled cheese was a nice take too.
Had the flounder and the strip loin for mains and were very happy with them. The chocolate cake was delicious too.
Service is very kind and professional and the wine menu is decent.

Great overall dining experience. Reservations required with every table filled. Service and food were phenomenal. For starters, the oysters and blue crab salad stood out as table favorites. Cheese plate was also exceptional. For the main, I ordered the SC snapper, which was perfect in terms of flavor and texture. The fish had a nice crunch, and was cooked to perfection. The Husk bar next-door had a very cool vibe as we waited before our meal.

This was our fourth visit to Husk. Each time we have visitors in town, we try to go here. It was a lovely meal, as always! The highlights for me this meal were the peach and tomato salad, the red snapper, and the steak. The lady bug drink was prettier than it was tasty, but the old fashioned (not pictured) was solid. Our friend’s pork entree (not pictured) was overcooked with little to no taste, so the waiter replaced it with the steak. This was the second time we’ve been disappointed with a pork entree here, but we appreciate that the waiter made it right. We had peach beignets for dessert (not pictured), which were delicious but quite heavy.

On a note unrelated to food, now that we have a baby, we’ve discovered that many restaurants downtown are not baby friendly. I know you must be thinking, “Why would they bring a baby to Husk??” As someone who is still breastfeeding, I cannot make it through a 2-3 hour dinner without dealing with “that issue.” Also, I believe in normalizing bringing well-behaved babies and children to enjoy grownup outings. I only bring this up to say that Husk does not have slings for a baby’s car seat, nor do they have a changing station for babies in the downstairs restroom. Thus, my removal of one star.

Overall, it was still a great experience as always!

We heard many good things about Husk and wanted to try it ourselves. We couldn’t get a reservation so put our name on the list 15 minutes before they started service and it only took 25 minutes to be seated. We had some delicious cocktails in their bar while we waited. The dinner was incredible, especially knowing it was all made with local ingredients. Husk is a fantastic and unique way to experience southern cuisine and I think it’s a must-visit place while in Charleston.

Delicious farm to table fare. Reservations are necessary and I would make them early if you're planning to go and enjoy a meal. The servers are helpful at giving recommendations and I've never felt like I made a wrong turn with any item I got here. One of my favorite locations to eat dinner in Charleston.

Came for brunch and generally found the food to be pretty underwhelming given how much we paid for it. Country-friend pork chop was pretty good but a little on the dry side. Batter and potatoes had a nice crispiness, but I expected more for $28. The rabbit hash was even more underwhelming, a little salty and not very flavorful beyond that. The blueberry ricotta donuts were tasty. My mom ordered the sausage & egg sandwich and she said she enjoyed it. Looked like the best value since it was the cheapest and the size of a burger. If we come back maybe I’d try that next time. We did enjoy sitting outside on the deck.

Reservations a must! A must to eat here while in Charleston. The menu changes everyday but the experience is so worth it. As soon as we came in, we can tell what great ambiance this restaurant has and the server was really friendly. Spacious restaurant w seating downstairs and upstairs. Overall a great great experience. The food was a delicious dream.

I thoroughly enjoyed eating at this restaurant! The atmosphere was quaint. The food—to die for. The service, stellar! I love the farm to table theme. It makes for an impeccable quality of food. The cornbread is a must have. The grits are creamy and delightful. For my entree I had the catfish (which I did have to add salt & pepper to) which was some of the freshest I’ve had in quite some time. For my cocktail I had a French 75 which can be a hit or miss—it was a 10000% hit! I strongly recommend this place over and over!!!

A brunch delight! Rob took excellent care of us. The cornbread was a delicious variation to a waffle and I got not one, but two chicken legs! The pork pastrami hash had so many different flavors and was perfectly finished with the poached egg. I enjoyed that the house mimosa also had a touch of peach, incorporating the Bellini flavor.
