Love their roasted coffee. The staff is always very friendly. Quick service. Best coffee in Salem! Great variety of live music on weekends.

Didn't feel welcome; pastry stale
From all the raving reviews I thought they'd know how to produce a primo espresso drink.
Asked if they can make a Cortado (not on the menu), which the absent-minded barista said she could make. Got a Macchiato instead - no big deal; the barista reluctantly added milk when I asked for it. No conversation, no opportunity to talk to a new customer.

What a fun little coffee bar! We sat upstairs and it was easy to sit and chat quietly. The chai latte was very tasty.

One of the best coffee shops in Salem! This is where I but my coffee beans because they're roasted with love and care. The owners are passionate about the community and support local artists.

I've only been here on a Friday evening, when they have live music. They make the coffee shop into a bar and it's a really cool scene. It's kind of small, but it has a nice vibe. Very hipster-esque. They have beers on tap, mixed drinks, and I think wine. And they serve their beer out of mason jars.

Best chai in town. Its a bit more mellow of an environment than something like Archive and the afternoon food selections are more accessible. They have been updating the place in the past year or so which is great and their bagel sandwiches are always my favorite. They roast the coffee in house and you can sit next to it which is a coffee addict's dream. As for the environment, it feels local and relaxing where something like Broadway or Archive feels more mainstream Portland. Gov cup is the best of Salem coffee experiences.

The absolute best coffee house in Salem. Excellent, freshly roasted coffee. Great bagel egg sandwiches. Relaxing atmosphere. I only wish I could give more than five stars!!😍😍

Cute coffee shop with local flair and artwork. Upstairs seating lounge with a sunlight. Great beer and coffee drinks. I got the Mexican Mocha. Very delicious. Music was a chill selection of jazz.

Welcoming atmosphere and polite employees. The coffee has always been great, and their baked goods are unique and interesting. Also love that I can buy fresh roasted coffee beans here!

Seriously. Vegan cinnamon rolls with espresso flavored frosting. Enough said. Not overly sweet either.

They have an upstairs loft and WiFi for studying and working on your laptop. Plenty of tables downstairs for chatting, slurping, and munching.

They're doing a lot of little things great here.
