Love this place. A visit every time we land in Salem. Ambiance is great.

Best: coffee, pastries, service, atmosphere, people - both staff and customers. Artwork from local artists, 21+ after 9pm(?), live music occasionally, and there’s great attention to recycling and composting. Love the layout of the place, too. Love this place.

I drink a lot of coffee, and like trying new places. This place-BEST COFFEE I have ever had! I ordered a simple creme de minth latte, and it was silky smooth and delicious! I asked how he made it and why it was so good. His secret is safe with me! 💜💙 try it. These guys know coffee!

Rose makes a fantastic Americano. When you have an Americano you get right to the guts of coffee. Simple and if done correctly NOT bitter and almost sweet with the crema on top floating like a rose petal in a mid puddle. Besides they've been there forever and baristas come and go but their coffee keeps the test of time. Muchas gracias for the cup a Joe ✊🏾

Stopped in on the way to our camping trip to grab some coffee- decided on the Nicaragua blend and it was sooo good! I’ve been here for meetings/just hanging out and it’s a great atmosphere. The owners and employees are always so nice, too! ☺️

Hands down the best coffee shop I've ever been to. Amazing drinks and great atmosphere. Live music during certain times, and local artists displayed on the walls. Truly a local gem. Try the dirty chai!

New owners have spiffed up the place some, and introduced an evening happy hour, which is nice. However the coffee roasting is basically just a shot in the dark. Knowledgeable people have even offered to set them on the right track with the roasting, but to no avail. It is sad when these little local cooffeeshops don't turn out anything better than Starbucks. It's not that hard to beat SB on quality.

Governor's Cup has the best London Fog I've been able to find and their bagels and other food is really good, too! The guy that helped me was great and I had a great experience.
My only problem was when I ordered a drink to-go and it was not made well and the woman helping me at the counter was rude. But really, 2/3 great experiences and I'll be back!

Great place for coffee and pastries. Beautifully laid out and the food is delicious. However, it's a little weird that they have stopped offering password-protected wi-fi for an open network. Probably the only reason to ding a star. If they had secured wi-fi, they would have 5 stars for sure.

Good coffee, good food, good environment.
