Always love this spot. I go at least every two weeks and the staff are always amazing, unique, sweet people. Love the new art they switch out regularly, and the STAR OF THE SHOW- the coffee is the best in Salem!!!! The free Friday concerts bring some much needed life and culture to downtown weekends! Whether you live here or are just passing through, The Governor's Cup is absolutely the place to hang out, drink coffee, and feel the love in Salem!!!

Enjoyed my brunch with my daughter- their bagel sandwiched are creative, flavorful and full of ingredients. The service was fast and friendly. We sat upstairs in the back corner which was much better once we moved to another table under the skylight. Prices were reasonable.

The best coffee in town. Still. I've been coming here for over 20 years and I keep coming back. The people who work there are always wonderful. Their coffee beans are so amazing and locally roasted.(I love the Electric Eye)

Fair priced coffee with a great atmosphere. Both the decorations and music playlist make a good first date place. But it also works well if you need to get work done. It's quite popular with the local college students as it becomes a bar at 9pm

No matter what I order, it's always PERFECT. And I really do mean perfect. The shop has a good vibe as well, as do the baristas. Love their glass straws and option to have your drink in an actual cup/mug. 100/10 would recommend!!!

My all time favorite coffee place. Too bad I live so far away! They make the BEST chai tea. Ever. I also enjoy almost all their blended drinks. Options for everyone. Amazing bagels and muffins for breakfast.

They always have great coffee and great service! They even make fancy latte art sometimes! The atmosphere is really nice for studying. The only downfall is that it closes for minors after a certain time.

Great little place. Cute and trendy. Chairs are the standard hard uncomfortable seating. Customer service is good. Coffee is great. Events are awesome! Definitely a fantastic contribution to Salem!

I like that the owner/proprietor roasts the coffee in the front of the shop. She is quite skilled at her craft. They even offered me a small coffee with the purchase of a pound of coffee, and even asked me very specific questions about my coffee maker to make sure that she ground it to taste the best when I got home. I was skeptical about the extra care and passed it off as a gimmick, it was among the finest tasting brew I have had. I also love their fresh berry yogurt cups with a side of granola.
