Fast, corporate and predictable. The baristas are trained to be friendly and take an interest in your day. If (like me) you're a clinical introvert and the last thing you want before you've had coffee is to have to exchange small talk I've found it useful to wear headphones while ordering - even if I'm not actually listening to anything. They're kind enough to respect that.
Remember how the famous "Go ahead, make my day" scene in "Sudden Impact" started when the waitress dumped sugar in Dirty Harry's cup of coffee for like 30 seconds? I think that's what Dutch Bros does for nearly all of their drinks. I think there are multiple feet-high mounds of sugar tucked away inside where no customers can see them (continually kept in ample supply due, of course, to hard-working sugar gnomes), and the hypnotized employees just scoop away to their hearts' content to make your caffeine-infused sugar concoctions. Thanks to this place, my kids will go into a diabetic coma before they're even legally old enough to touch Daddy's (legally!) modified AR-15.
So my husband and I took his mother and brother to this location and it was their first time getting Duch Bros. They didn’t know what they wanted so we pulled up to the window to look at the menu. They were trying to ask questions about what was in the drinks. After we ordered it took a while for them to get us our dink’s the first one came out and they didn’t even tell us what it was. Then the second came out and we had to ask two times what it was and when we found out what it was it didn’t have whip cream on the the top like we had asked for. So we asked the lady if she could add the whip cream and she look so upset at us that we had asked her to do that. Then my drink came out and I said no whip cream and guess what I had gotten whipped cream. Then my mother in laws drink came out and she didn’t even get what she ordered. But we had had enough and left with what we had. Then to come out I didn’t even have all that I had ordered either. I think we will stick to Starbucks from now on.
Music was too loud and my order was messed up. My order was messed up during my previous visit as well. All I wanted was a coffee and got a frustrating experience instead. I'll stick to Antlers.
Fast and friendly, willing to make custom drinks. The music is usually a little too loud when you're trying to make your order but that's part of the Dutch Bros vibe.
I asked for a ninja frost and they gave me two wrong drinks I thought they looked wrong and even asked if they gave me the wrong ones cause the color was extremely off the girl said they were the right ones so I went home and they were in fact not a ninja frost they had coffee very disappointed
