Phenomenal. Couldn't decide so I got a half order of the biscuits and gravy, and a half order of the juevos rancheros. Even the plain looking beans of the rancheros had amazing flavor. Everything here is well done and appropriately priced. Will eat here again every time I'm in yellow springs.

My (new!) wife and I had a wonderful time there last night getting a few nightcaps there whilst exploring yellow springs on our post wedding getaway. Super cozy and friendly, with great cocktails. We’re looking forward to heading over for breakfast!

Love this restaurant, including its quirks. Veggie burger is excellent, as are the homemade rolls brought to the table. Salad is now extra and less substantial. Decor and music is delightful.

I had not gone there for several years. I believe it must have new owners or management. I always look first at the quality of the coffee, disappointing. My daughter was staying at the Park Mill so we went to Sunrise for breakfast. Mediocre is the word. No ham, and I don't know if the sausage patty was pork, but overpriced, so so. Like the other reviewer said they appear to use canned tomatoes, in my case my omelet. When I went there some years ago they proudly severed homemade jams, locally sourced. The waitress had no knowledge of this, brought out Smuckers like they would have in a truck stop in little plastic containers. The homemade muffins were more dense and the potatoes were these over sized chunks. My daughter got the biscuits and gravy, Bob Evans is better by far, truly. What she got was this thick pasty yellow looking gravy. We had to go up there again today so we gave it another try, never again. Sad this is had changed from when I loved them. Instead of a long menu, maybe concentrate on less, but put more effort in. The guy greeter was excellent, our waitress the other day didn't seem to really care, today this one showed more attention. But she wasn't eager to correct a mistake on her part. You could order a cup of fruit with a menu item, which my son did, but we were charged full price for the fruit that you could order for a lower price. Not our mistake, but she took care of it. I am sad, there are few good options in this area for a good breakfast.

Love a convivial dinner at Sunrise.

My sister and I had these gorgeous and delicious cocktails and shared some sweet potato latkes to start after dashing in from a thunderstorm.

She had the scallops and risotto for dinner - wonderful! - and I finally ordered the Sunrise Classico pasta, which I've had my eye on for a while. Threw in some steak as an extra (the entree itself is vegetarian, but you have the option to add protein), and it was very, very delicious.

We had a great time, some amazing cocktails and food, great service. Really enjoyed ourselves in a warm and charming setting while the tempest raged outside.

Such a cute cafe. We ate on the patio out back. Nice atmosphere. Everything was delicious from the Morning Fill-up to the Huevos Rancheros. The buttermilk pancakes and maple syrup... awesome!

First time dining here but based on previous reviews, went ahead and arrived about 15 minutes before opening on a Sunday morning. There was already a line outside so to me, that says something good, right? The service was fast, courteous and the coffee refills just kept coming. Breakfast was very tasty too! Enjoyed the overall atmosphere so definitely will be coming back.

I love going to the Sunrise Cafe. The food is so good! I had the "Morning Fill up". It's a good value and was very tasty. The floor could be a bit cleaner or replaced though. Other than that, I highly recommend going here. There's a reason why there's a line down the sidewalk on weekends.

Got The Vicks Salad. It is entirely chef's choice, just tell them what you don't want. Everything else goes. It was perfect and divine in every way. I don't ever Instagram my food; I had to Instagram this.

Also, the employees were super nice and friendly. Definitely will be going back again for an entirely different salad experience.

I ordered the Rahmschnitzel and it was delicious, the flavors all came together perfectly. I would highly recommend paying a visit!!!
