Their award-winning pancakes definitely deserved the reward. The pancakes are possibly the best I’ve ever had.

This little gem has great food at reasonable prices. Get here early though if you're planning to go Friday night, as it's very busy.

Aside from the charming and creative interior furnishings, it was not what I anticipated after reading good reviews. Service was extremely slow and inattentive to customer basic needs (i.e. utensils); outside seating area could use upgrades/improvements.

Food and Service was good. I had a beef hamburger and a cup of pumpkin soup. I enjoyed. I would have been happier if I took it to go. Big problem with so many flies and an awful grease smell from the kitchen. Not a good day at Sunrise.

We waited 40 minutes for mediocre food. I kept swatting away an army of fruit flies attacking our table from every angle. $6 for one hard dry sausage patty and $14 for a veggie scramble with a human hair inside (spoiler: it wasn’t mine).

Wanted to love this cute little Yellow Springs gem but sadly will not ever return.

Great pumpkin vegan pancakes! Quaint atmosphere with unique painted murals and a tea cup walled entry. Hungry Mexican omelette was tasty. Kalamata olives, sausage, mushrooms and salsa were really fresh. Cucumber salad was really a treat! A must do in Yellow Springs. The service was wonderful. On the main drag…so street parking - handicap parking was 2 spots for several blocks. Allow time to find a spot. Closes after lunch at 2 p m. Get here early!

I've been to Sunrise a handful of times. Each time it takes a while to be seated, it is a popular restaurant so they're usually full and seating is best for small groups. Your meal is made fresh so it make take a while to get your food as well. Please be patient, it's worth it. Their cocktails are killer, I love the sage margarita. I'd also recommend trying their appetizers are next level sweet potato latkas. They've been great accommodating my friends that have dietary restrictions. Most recently I had their garlic and rosemary chicken with seasonal veggies and colcannon mashed potatoes.

My absolute favorite place❤️

Bryan and Shaun catered our wedding and I could not say enough great things about them. Their food and specialty cocktails made our event and is probably one of the best wedding meals I've ever had. They were kind and patient throughout the planning process and always made time to chat.

I'm always excited when I'm home to grab breakfast at Sunrise, but will now be there for 3 meals a day ☺️

Ordered the biscuits and gravy. It was gravy over crumbles of a biscuit and the gravy was just like paste. Really did not care for it at all. My mom had the chicken salad sandwich with the potatoes. She really liked both very much. Very cute decor. Would be helpful to have better lighting. It was difficult to read the menu due to the very dim lighting.
