From a local who hadn't eaten there in years: Tasty pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs and house made veggie patties. Veggie patties really surprised me, unlike anything I'd had before, and very different from anything packaged/frozen I've had. Just tasty, seedy, panfried, great texture. Pancakes at the Sunrise are lovely. Warm syrup and melted butter. The scrambled eggs were overdone, rubbery, which is a bummer. Wouldn't bother to order those again.

When I arrived, I literally had to wave hello to get someone's attention after repeatly looking at me. The food is wonderful, but $8 for a side of sausage patty...wow! Way over priced for one person for breakfast! $30 and all I got was the spinach and portobello mushrooms omelet, potatoes and the $8 patty without my rye toast that was supposed to come with the omelet. Sorry for the no tip but my experience was horrible. Won't be back!

Super cozy atmosphere with lots of interesting options. Be prepared to wait for a table but the wait is worth it!

We had dinner at the Sunrise Cafe. We arrived just after opening for the evening and many of the tables were already filled. We waited quite a while to be seated even though there were open tables. The servers just looked at us and went on their way; I expected a "we'll be right with you" but that didn't happen. Once we were seated the service was fine. The food was good but I would not call it fabulous; it was pricey for what we received ($20 for a roasted beet and some veggies). If we are back in the area we might give them a try for breakfast.

Great food. Tons of options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free people. Everyone loves their pancakes. My personal favorites are the hummus enchiladas and the veggie Reubens but I mix it up since they have lots of seasonal specials and I have had great food. I recommend eating in since pancakes, reubens, and omelets are always better super fresh and that is what they are great at. All super yummy. Let your server know if you have limitations on the Vicki cakes or if you only want fruit since sometimes they add nuts or chocolate in the past. But they are amazing.

Pancake was good. Scrambled eggs were good. Crab cake was horrible, potatoes were horrible and not cooked thoroughly at all. They make there own soda pop. It was just ok. My wife had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. She said it wasn’t bad if you like wheat toast. Server Shawnee was great.

Love the food! Love their cocktails. Call ahead for seating. Don’t want to dine inside. Order carry out.

Friday evening, six of us celebrated my grandson's 13th birthday at Sunrise.
Very good food and very good service as usual. We'll go back for another upcoming birthday. I had the very delicious meatloaf and recommend it.
The cafe is reminiscent of many Parisian bistros.

A friendly place with great food. Small coffee cups and they keep them filled. The coffee was very good.
