Wonderful coffee & waffles. Love this place very much, always visit when I'm in town.

Very tasty food and my latte was great! Not too sweet, not to bitter, just right. The shop itself is also very cute and the outdoor area is well kept. The staff was nice and friendly. Can't recommend enough.

I wanted to know what was the hype about but the two times i went my ice coffee had a lightly burnt/roasted taste. I felt ignored but if a white person came in they were greeted… parking lot is horrible , they need to get rid of those bushes.

Unique little spot in a see of overpriced chain restaurants and boring coffee shops. Great place for coffee and a bite to eat. Jalapeno cheddar bagel was very good. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!

The Good: prices are very reasonable, and that's a plus in this area. Coffee is great! Good selection of styles(latte, iced, brewed, Americana, shots, and pour over). The look of this place is awesome, starting with the outside and it doesn't disappoint once your inside. Waffles are out of this world! You must try them once, you only get 1 for $3. But trying it once is well worth it! People are very helpful!

The Bad: the pour over takes a while and that could be fixed by having hot water on demand. 1 waffle for $3..."come on son!" The atmosphere during the day needs to be peaceful not filled with loud music, I could caring a conversation with my friend because the music was an annoyance. And finally the tables that you can sit at are wobbly and I spilled my coffee from a tiny bump.

Poor communication. Girl looked confused when I asked for coffee.
Makes sense now, that they sell lattes, all milk, less coffee.

By far the best place (one of the only places) to get a decent espresso drink in Jacksonville. Also worth trying is their brioche waffles, though best when fresh. The staff is also super friendly. My only complaint are the hours. They aren't open long enough for people with normal jobs to go on the weekdays.

Let me preface this by saying, this is not a quick stop kind of coffee shop! Everything is hand crafted, locally sourced when possible, and attention to detail and flavor is a priority in this coffee shop. If you don't mind spending a little bit of extra time to receive an exceptional cup of coffee, then you will love your visit to The Milk Road.

It's also a wonderful place to relax with family and friends while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee and a tasty treat. We always leave as happy customers after stopping at The Milk Road!

Meh. The coffee was good, but the waffle? Tasted like chemicals. Seriously, it had some strong chemical taste to it. I don't know what it was but I didn't even want to finish it. It was not good. Definitely disappointed and won't be returning because the drive isn't worth it. I can still get good coffee closer to me.
And, just FYI I have a huge sweet tooth and I've never been known to turn down or dislike sweets! So for me to say that about the waffle, which is supposed to be a big seller here...

What an amazing place! The barista made me the most phenomenal vanilla latte with oat milk. I've had lattes in the past with oat milk, and it just never tasted right. The barista at The Milk Road steamed the milk to PERFECTION. I was super impressed!

The waffles they make here are OUT OF THIS WORLD. You gotta try one when you stop in!

The atmosphere is cozy, yet super trendy. It's the perfect place to pop in for a quick drink or stay for hours and get work done.

They have an outside area equipped with heaters for colder days, amazing umbrellas hanging for decor, and a beautiful seating area. They have a really large yard in the back, which is perfect for kiddos to run around while you're enjoying your coffee.

They do not serve decaf coffee beverages here (i.e. no decaf drop coffee and cannot pull decaf espresso shots)

If you're in Jacksonville, put this on your list to stop in at! You won't regret it!
