Handy Mart

I came into the store a few days ago. I had a young female cashier ringing up my items. When I went to pay she said nothing to me about rewards and continued texting on her phone. By the time my payment was approved, she finally asked if I needed a receipt, I politely told her no. I noticed that her phone messages was too important than customer needs.

We went to redeem our scratch off and pick up a few things for our trip and the cashier told us we could not redeem our 20.00 scratchers. She said not until 6am. We just came from another gas station that said the machines open at 5am. She was very unfriendly and said it depends on the store????? so we went next door to Speedway and they redeemed the tickets. I think she had an issue with my husbands race. She greeted me when I came in and the gentleman that came in after me. She did not greet my husband. Then greeted the person after him. So sad people are this way. I would avoid this store and shop at the speedway where they were super nice!!

Stopped here to get gas Sunday, May 7th around 7pm. The cashier saw I had a $100 bill in my hand an said she couldn't change it an that she had no cash. She didn't know how much gas I was getting before stating this. The store stays busy so how do you not have any cash mid day on a Sunday? Stop lying to people. If you don't want to accept large bills, just put a note at the pump or on the door somewhere that's visible for people to see stating this. Otherwise, the store is always clean with a large selection of snacks.

CASH CASH CASH! don't prepay inside for gas with a card here at this store! if they screw up the transaction your money is gone for "up to 48 hours and it is your banks fault" and they make you pay again, so your bank is double charged! if you live paycheck to paycheck you could be overdrafted and charged by your bank! they don't care! the manager is very RUDE when you try and understand what has happened and does not train her associates properly in how this happens.

Great staff!!! Yes, at sometimes they do get busy. But in this world sometimes you have to wait in line. Best thing about them is their staff!!
