Although the shop is kind of out I'm the middle of nowhere, this is high quality coffee and it is TOTALLY worth the drive! If you are one of those people who really enjoys good, locally roasted coffee, then this shop is for you. Sophisticated coffee and tea beverages that are not overpriced. I highly recommend stopping by.

Milk Road is a nice place to go for a decent cup of coffee... considering we are in Jacksonville, it might be one of the best places to go for a cup of coffee.
Decor was amazing, and the playlist was great. It was a nice place to study or catch up with friends.
I love the idea of having a backyard area to enjoy your drink, but I was turned off due to the fact every employee was sitting out there smoking.
I got an iced coffee and the employee was very nice. She explained what exactly they put in it, and Glady customized my drink. Iced coffee was...okay...
There was a disgusting amount of flies in the coffee shop... I tried to ignore it, but they kept landing on my cup.
Overall, I would recommend this to friends.

Just moved to the area and thought to try this place put. It was really nice! The store has a quaint and inviting feel, and they also have a lot of local items for sale. The staff was very kind when they explained the menu to me as well. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This Coffee Shop is a hidden gem in Jacksonville. The exterior of the building resembles a converted car repair shop. The interior is clean and is set up really nicely with red brick walls and natural wood and metal furniture. The coffee is very tasty and is brewed strong. The waffles are cooked perfectly with syrup and sugared glazed on them definately a great small business to visit over the larger ones any day.

Their waffles (liege) are amazing! Their delicious coffee is actual coffee, and their owner is fun and legitimately excited about his business. They are slow at times, and it's not a place to go if you're in a hurry. The only knock on them is that the are inconsistent. Their posted hours are not reliable.

I drive all the way from Hubert to order the chai tea and a waffle, and it's always amazing. I love they sell locally made natural products too. I have even purchased some items for my home like the had soaps and scrubs. One of the best kept secrets about this place is the back patio where you can enjoy your beverage and waffles. I brought three of my children last week and they had a blast running around while I was able to sip down my iced chai with another costumer who also had their toddler in tow. If anything, this place is way better than any other coffee shoppe or cafe in the area. Try it! You'll be happy you did.

Really great food and drinks. Friendly staff as well! Very cute local place.

A fellow veteran and I decided to check out a new coffee place; being a veteran owned establishment, I figured it would’ve been a down to earth place. I explained that I can’t wear a mask, due to medical reasons. She shook her head, and said “then you can wait in your vehicle”, being very condescending. We waited 23 minutes for a warm cup of coffee. Lack of respect, manners, and bearing. We will not be coming back.

Update: forgot it was closed on Mondays. My mom came from out of state to visit for Mother's Day so I wanted her to experience Milk Road!
We parked and as soon as we exited the car, heard screaming from inside followed by the sounds of things being thrown around. As we approached we saw a woman inside making the ruckus. There's no doubt that some sort of serious drama was happening inside.
I tried to open the door but since they're closed Mondays it was locked. She looked up, made a slash motion across her throat, and rudely said, "we're closed."
I get it, they were closed, but how's that the face you want to present to the world and your customers? The luster of this place is definitely wearing off over time. This was not the experience I wanted for my mom.
Original review: Love this place. Location, while out of the way, is actually kind of convenient. The staff is super friendly and seem to enjoy what they do. The coffee is delicious and so are the waffles - I go several times per month. It's comfortable inside and out on the deck and the prices are fair for what you get (but definitely not inexpensive).
Now that it's been open for a while, there's a couple things that keep it from getting 5 stars. They seem to constantly have trouble with their internet, which means that sometimes they can't take payments and it takes 5-10 minutes for me to pay. This has happened numerous times. Also, when it's busy, they get overwhelmed quickly and fall behind and it can take 20-30 minutes to get a waffle, even if it's not full. This has prevented me from leaving with a waffle more than once when I stopped by on my way to work because I ran out of time. It seems like the management could be helping expedite orders but they're always doing other stuff. They also run out of stuff a lot and there's been a few times that it's obvious they didn't prepare enough waffle mix before opening.
But don't get me wrong, this place is legit. Still need to iron out some of the details, but once they do, easy 5 stars.
