We stopped in at Milk Road for coffee. We enjoyed their brewed coffee. It was good. We brought our own mugs and they provide a discount if you bring your own mug. They have a number of different coffee drinks and smoothies. The staff is very friendly. There is not indoor seating currently. The owner shared that it has to do with her lease and she hopes that it will change soon. There are outdoor tables as well. They also have a selection of baked goods as well if you need a snack. The decor is very interesting!
Went there this weekend and it was its second weekend open. Very nice baristas. Super cute and clean. Drinks were great - tried a coffee, a matcha, and a smoothie and everyone was happy with their choices. Such a great addition to Emerald Isle.
MY GO TO when I come to Emerald Isle , I always get iced caramel shakerato with a jalapeño cheddar bagel (always so fresh , fluffy and flakey ) with cream cheese . I’ve tried the watermelon lemonade and it really didn’t have any flavor so just stick with the coffee
Three employees but only one doing anything. Someone walked in and instead of helping they just looked at the customer and said “sorry, we’re slow”. Where’s the manager? This Karen needs some better service on this one. We just ordered three lattes, it’s been over 15 minutes.
Even after not going there in months, the batista STILL knew my order. Thats phenomenal customer service. Not to mention, the staff are always pleasant to converse with, and the pastries are straight up DIVINE. Try the spanakopita, trust me. With love, earl grey with oatmilk.
Looking for a place to have a good coffee with a place to sit down at a table. Searched every picture and description and it never says or showed anything about it being take out only OR that you can sit at a table. Went somehere else farther away. Figured if they can't get the description of the business correct... The coffee would fall short as well. Wake up people. We are tourists and use Google not social media to find places when we are traveling.
Everyone is super friendly and helpful! Beautiful shop. I was not enamored by the coffee but it was ok. The pastries left even more to be desired. I’m not sure how anyone created the “kitchen sink” cookie and thought it was good enough to sell. I thought it was terrible and hard. The apple hand pie was terrible too. Wish I could say better things cause it was such a cute shop and everyone was so nice.
If you like paying near $7 for a nothing to write home about cup of coffee then this is the place for you. They don't have prices on the board either. I won't ever go there again, not even on my worst day pshh.
Coffee that's worth driving over the bridge for. We had a vanilla latte and a pour over. Both were excellent and more like a high end coffee you would get in Raleigh. My daughter had a smoothie and wouldn't stop talking about it. Probably the best thing we had was this amazing waffle they made. Excited to finally have a great coffee shop on the beach!
