Veranda Cafe & Gift

Like good food? Try this place for lunch if you are in town. Nothing I have ever gotten here has been less than really good. Everyone I've eaten here with has been happy with the meal and service they received.

Spent the day in Black Mountain NC and we had been told the Veranda Cafe was a great place for lunch. It didn't disappoint! The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. Would definitely go back!!

My wife loves this place. For me it was very good but not great. I shouldn't have ordered the hungarian mushroom soup.

Food and service at the Veranda Cafe is consistently excellent. Be sure to try their homemade soups - particularly the she-crab soup. One of the best lunches in Black Mountain!

Food. Crowded. Local tzatziki sauce is actually just mayo, so avoid the “gyro” if you want something that is good. Other food was decent.

Great atmosphere and staff set the stage for a wonderful lunch. I had the Cranberry Turkey sandwich and corn & bacon chowder. So refreshing and delicious. Highly recommend a lunch stop here.

Had a delicious lunch on Tuesday 6.21 with excellent service. Would return if visiting the area.

Food was great! Prices were slightly high, but still reasonable. Service was great. They were very busy when I was there, but the food came out in a timely manner and staff was still fairly attentive.

The three cheese grillee cheese with bacon it the best sandwich ever!!!!

Excellent! The McDibbs is off the chain. Mimosas and wonderful service from Samantha made the entire visit wonderful. The owners are friendly and attentive. A must visit.
