Priced to high for the portion and quality. 2.45 for not freshly made coffee. Over 10 for a HALF of an uninspired sandwich. The lima bean soup was quite good. Been to much better cafe/coffeehouses...This did not measure up....

Stopped for lunch yesterday, slight wait but they still have great service even though they were fixing to close. Food came out quickly and was super fresh!

We have been going here for years and have always had great meals. From the homemade soups and speciality rotating brewed tea’s or desserts, there’s always something new yet familiar. It can get busy but that’s what happens when you’re food is on point. There is a back patio with a selective amount of seating but worth a check to see if a table is available. The group favorites are the vegetarian Sandwhich, the Hungarian mushroom soup, the giant chef salad, and the peanut butter pie dessert. You’ll be happy you stopped by. Cheers!

Excellent chicken salad and excellent service by Cali. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years.

One of my favorite places in the vicinities of Asheville, NC. When you come in they greet you like family! My favorite dish here is the Hungarian mushroom soup: velvety, tasty, full of mushrooms. Great prices and beautiful place

Had very nice lunch. Very friendly staff.

To be such a sweet cozy little place, there's still plenty of room for lots of diners. Always busy. Wonderful soups daily, can be combined with sandwiches or salads. We're lucky to have this place in our town.

How disappointing that a restaurant, in this climate, can continue to endanger its staff and patrons by operating at full capacity. Over the holidays, we ordered sandwiches to go and had to pay inside as we were unable to pay over the phone. Upon entering, the entire restaurant was full, every table occupied and patrons waiting on the bench. It was a Covid Hotspot. We cancelled our order and instead supported another establishment, that clearly went out of their way to follow safety protocol.

What a great place! Quaint little restaurant with a deck out back . Great food and employees. Always great service when you need it without pushing it. Try the tomato, feta and basil soup. Out if this world.
