What a great place to eat. Food was so hood. Everyone was very friendly. Such a great place to go. Definitely will go back on my next visit.

This is a traditional visit for us when in the Asheville area. Lunch at the Veranda is a must. The mushroom soup is a favorite. I had the Bavarian pretzel club this time and it did not disappoint. The service is excellent and while I don't have the dessert, but am told it is a highlight.
The place is busy, and the wait can be daunting but there is plenty close by to occupy the worth while wait.

Love this place! Great Food!

Had brunch. Inexpensive and good taste. It was very crowded so be sure to go early or expect wait of atleast half hour.

Good fresh flavors and friendly service. Seemed busy- packed actually, but we got a nice table on the "veranda " . Chicken gyro- lots of flavor and generous, rich tzatziki sauce (and feta). Garden salad with that same flavorful roasted chicken and rich ( housemade?) Bleu Cheese . Good iced tea options, including unsweetened flavored tea and iced chai with almond milk.

Great food, great service. Long wait sometimes because it's such a unique place. Also sells gifts likes hot sauces, umbrellas, random books and knick knacks. Best seats are on the small patio out back.
The turkey with cranberry jam is a unique find that'll keep you coming back. Daily soups are delicious.

Adorable nook with great atmosphere and food.

This has been a favorite for YEARS!! LOVE their Hungarian Mushroom soup and Vegetarian sandwich (& I'm not a vegetarian) - their other items are delicious, but often those are my 2 go to's. You can't go wrong, but if time is an issue, get there before or after the major lunch crowd (or get it to go) because there will be a wait . . . but the wait is TOTALLY worth it!!
