Village Bakery & Cafe, Rochester NY

Ordered online @ 8:40 and arrived at 9:10 for an order that should be ready at 9:20. I watched 30+ people walk-in and get food made before my take out order was ready. Need to fix your ticketing system.

Service person could've at least told me I'd be standing there 30+ minutes before my order was going to be ready.

Was disappointed. Very limited kid menu (had heard it was good) and shaved steak was exceptionally salty. I would have asked for another but I had a 4 year old with me and couldn’t wait

90 minute wait for food..absolutely ridiculous. I understand it is a Sunday, but the place was maybe 30-40% full and you don't have servers. Two people at the register, the rest should be cooking the food, and have it out in 15-20 since the items are cooked to order. The cafe held a very special place in my heart and today it was absolutely ruined. Wish I could give negative stars.

What happened to all the great people that worked here? I just watched a worker go into the restroom to clean. Without any gloves! And then she came out and went directly to making coffee drinks. Without any gloves! Are you kidding me? I'm stunned. She kept the cleaner container hooked on her apron the whole time. I love this place. But now I'm disgusted and won't go back.

Very nice place with delicious food. Employees were very accommodating to get orders taken and quickly turn food around. The place is quite often a mob scene at certain times and days. Very good bread made here daily. $$

First time, last time. Cashier was beyond rude and everyone else looked like they were miserable. Poor customer service. 2 stars.

Coffee was so bad. And no omelette what do you call that!!!!!! And besides that waiting here for over an hour to get cold scrambled egges that cost me $10 I’m eating with my dog tomorrow he eats better than this.

This place is top notch. The food is amazing and the dining space is very comfortable. Coffee isn't their strong point, so I would love if they would step up their game a bit in at area. But overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone! Keep up the good work y'all!

If I can wake up early enough, I love stopping into this spot before work. Chai with almond milk and a kouign amann pronounced Queen Amann, adds a jolt and sweetness to my morning. GET THERE EARLY!! LIKE BEFORE 10AM!!

This location has completely gone down the drain. The staff is trash. I was “beep beeped” at by an employee carrying dishes, while another employee told a man they couldn’t heat up his croissant because they didn’t have time. What?…. So unfortunate the work ethic of people these days, sending this business down the drain.
