Village Bakery & Cafe, Rochester NY

Really enjoy the selection and quality of the food. Every time I've had the coffee it has been excellent. Easy access off of 490. Parking can get crowded at times.

If it wasn't in the city and more importantly, they hadn't changed their quiche recipe (Previously the best I've had) the rating would have been 5 stars.

Always delicious, regardless of what you get! Fresh bread, breakfast sandwiches, quiche.. the only warning I will offer is that many of their breakfast Sammie's are fork and knife meals. If you want a grab and go,stick to an Evelyn or a pastry!

Their egg sandwiches are so delicious. Every time we visit Rochester we make the cafe a priority. My favourite dessert is the pear almond tart. Definitely a must for a quick sandwich and amazing coffee.

Bagel with egg took slightly less than forever, and bagel wasn’t even toasted.
Confusing order lines with hordes of people on phones milling around.
Acoustics are like being in a large corrugated metal drainage pipe.
Tables are stickier than the peep show floors in the State Street Adult Bookstore ever was.
Had to peel my mask off the table afterwards and cannot use it till a thorough cleaning and disinfecting

Very healthy lunch option of a grilled veggies sandwich with garlic pickle. Even a teanto detoxify.

Ordered the four egg omelette with sausage and French toast. Absolutely amazing. Perfectly spiced, and succulent. I would give 6 stars if I could.
The fries were perfect: crunchy exterior, soft but cooked interior.

The drinks... Bloody Mary and momosa were good as expected but on request, a specially crafted dunk with Bellini, prosecco, and Moscato and puree... Best drink I've ever had. My best friend concurred.

The server... Despite being busy was attentive and made the special drink.

A must visit place in Rochester!!

Great fresh food! Awsome bread/bakery!. Taking 1 star off because they dont do home fries or omlettes. Don't go to the one in Pittsford though as their quality of cooking is not the same. They burn stuff and seem to make smaller portions.

This is my favorite village bakery, the staff is always so nice and the food is ALWAYS on point. We get the Michaela and Alex often for breakfast! The BLT is a go to as well! Pastries are killer, cream cheese frosting on the cinnamon buns! Yum!

Went here for lunch. Sandwiches were very good! Cute little place, too!

UPDATE: Came here the next day for breakfast. Egg sandwiches tasted great and were filling. Coffee and hot chocolate is amazing!

Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwich. Excellent atmosphere, could use some Christmas music thou.
Great staff, clean and comfortable as always.
