We tried the lunch options today. Quiche was good. But sandwiches looked better, definitely will try next time. Also the lavender latte was really really good! Want to try breakfast menu soon.
Had enough parking and they have dine in space both upstairs and downstairs. Weather was not bad so we enjoyed food outside. Also staff was friendly and efficient.

Sandwiches are consistently very good, baked goods are inconsistent - either they're great or they're too dry for my liking (I strongly recommend the molasses cookies)

The biggest issue here is just that the atmosphere is bad. The name implies some sort of cozy hominess but it's actually the opposite: it's seemingly one of those restaurants that deliberately designs their interiors to be uncomfortably loud in order to generate turnover, the seats are all a bit hard, etc. The last place in the neighborhood i'd go to if i wanted a nice cup of coffee to start the day

I live within walking distance of here and come here a bit but it's not somewhere I'd go to frequently if it wasn't for that

Super disappointing experience at the Village Bakery & Cafe Culver. For Mother's day, my family placed an online order to avoid waiting in line (9 people). Order was confirmed for 8:45am pick up. I received a text from the restaurant at 7:17 am on the date of pick up stating that the order would be ready between 8:45- 8:55. At 7:59am I received a call from the bakery stating that the order had been sitting waiting to be picked up since 7:34. We live about a half hour from the bakery and weren't able to get there immediately. The manager said that GrubHub had switched the time of the order pick up (there is no record of this) and that it was "GrubHub's fault".
Come to find out, I had placed the online order at 7:34 the night before and the manager had mistaken that as the pick up time.
Unfortunately, she refused to make this situation right. Our food was cold, breakfast sandwiches were soggy and coffee was cold and the manager was adamant that the problem was GrubHub. She told my husband to contact GrubHub about the communication issue between her restaurant and their company.
I understand that mistakes happen, but the manager's attitude and refusal to help was beyond off-putting. I was embarrassed that I had chosen this establishment for my family- many of which had never eaten at a Village Bakery and Cafe before. We will not be returning.

Delicious breakfast and baked goods. Coffee and such is also reportedly good (I don't drink coffee, coffee drinkers in the family liked it). Sandwiches and the pastries are excellent.

Pittsford village and Eastview locations are better, but this one will do. Their breakfast sandwiches and salads are great. Tomato soup & grilled cheese are solid too.

Always love coming here. They have the best macaroons and freshly baked goods every day. The food is phenomenal even tho I've only tried what's on the breakfast menu and one of the protein shakes. 10/10 would recommend.

Great food & amazing baked goods! I had the "Lucy" breakfast sandwich & 2 bottled waters for a total of about $18. The sandwich was delicious! I SO wanted to try everything but my pocketbook wasn't in agreement & my waistline thanked me! The freshly made breads & rolls on display were very enticing! The macarons looked perfect, which is not an easy feat! Overall very delicious food. A little pricey but you get what you pay for & everything seemed very well made with excellent ingredients. You definitely want to check this place out for awesome food & baked goods.

$6 + for avocado toast?? See the photo. Village bakery has gotten way too porky. Better to eat at home than pay for this over priced nonsense. They need a time out.

I ordered and stood for more than 30 minutes for the order. The people are the worst ! Avoid at all cost . They are quick to take your order and take your money and they make you wait standing for more than 30 minutes - for egggggs and a biscuit !!!

Great bakery items and usually good sandwiches. Solid cup of coffee, and great staff. Not sure my Caroline sandwich actually had any bechamel sauce though...
