Village Bakery & Cafe, Rochester NY

Really fun place to come to eat with friends! They always have bread samples out which is fun to taste different kinds of bread :) They also have lots of vegan options! Their macarons are fantastic, someone in our group always order a protein peanut butter smoothie for us all to share. I haven't had anything I haven't loved from here yet!

Great coffee and the food is good! It’s usually pretty busy so the waiting area vs. ordering area is a little chaotic, but the text updates make it easier.

While the parking can be difficult in the small lot it is definitely worth the headache. It has a small interior that is fairly intimate but not crowded. The staff is is very friendly and the breakfast sandwiches and danishes are amazing. I highly recommend the “Alex” and the goat cheese and tomato danish if you have a chance.

I am here weekly and I always enjoy the atmosphere and food. The people are great. The cider was an all time favorite.

Nice spot but food has been subpar lately… iced tea tasted weird, food very hit or miss.

Get your breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun; you won't regret it! Also grab a hazelnut tart on your way out; you won't regret that either (unless you have a nut allergy)

Had food ordered as part of a group order for work. It was overpriced, menu was overdone nothing simple for breakfast, and it tasted like absolute garbage. Will not be joining breakfast orders from here again.

We stopped in after a run at Cobbs Hill. Nothing beats the hunger of a long run like an excellent breakfast sandwich and Ice tea! Highly recommend!

Sometimes the service is hit or miss but overall I can rely on getting a yummy meal here relatively fast.

Small tip for the team: i would really recommend that staff not spray cleaning products around people that are eating their food! Some people are very sensitive to chemical smells (me!)
