The Gin Mill....I didn't want to go there, because of poor food and service in the past, but was talked into going by a friend. We sat at the bar and were waited on promptly, and she was friendly. Food came out faster than in the past. The homemade chips were great. I ordered the rueben sandwich, but then was told they were out of saur kraut. So they asked if they could put Cole slaw on instead. It was ok, but they are famous for ruebens, and a grocery store is a block away. No excuse for being out of a key ingredient.

Incredibly poor experience; my wife stopped in on Sunday 2022-04-24 at around 2pm. Staff were more interested in having a conversation with each other than helping. They had "run out of ingredients" for smoothies, the iced coffee I had was extremely watery and had a weird off, greasy taste to it, and her cafe au lait also had an off taste and was weak. Very surprising and not what we expected, especially given the other reviews.

Very Clean place. food was very good. We had a breakfast wrap and fresh fruit. Jen was our waitress and she was AMAZING! good coffee and a great place for breakfast. We will be back

We waited inside for 10 minutes. No one addressed us at all. There were other customers waiting behind us also. We decided to leave because we were hungry and wanted to order food.

Delicious...where the locals go. This was the special: Southwest Sweet Potato Pie.

Not enough servers. We sat for a long time being ignored. Finally flagged down a busboy and asked for menues. Then waited another 20 minutes before giving our orders. Also, several tables that came after us got waited on before we did. Will never go back there again

We came in from out of town on a Sunday around noon and fell in love! It was busy but the wait was reasonable and definitely worth it. The menu was creative, the employees were friendly, and the food was delicious! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back!

While they were very friendly, I honestly felt the place was dirty. There was a hair in my food which they offered to replace, and did take money off my bill. But flies were flying all over us inside at our table, they kept landing on my sons sandwich so he wouldn't eat it. The table was a bit sticky, overall I was a bit disappointed.

Great food and friendly service. We're from out of town, but this delightful Cafe certainly seems to be a local hangout. I got the Flip wrap (with added bacon) and my wife got the veggie panini. Both were excellent. The server even brought out a toy for our 1 year old to keep her entertained. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
