Was in Ellicottville in the morning figured I'd try Katy's latte. Asked for an iced latte, and they pulled cold premade coffee out of the FRIDGE! Any latte needs to have fresh espresso, even if it's iced!

Never seen this before. Ended up throwing the beverage out, it tasted horrible. It was just cold PREMADE coffee mixed with milk.

The fact that they charge you for a latte, and call this a latte is ridiculous. This is NOT a latte. A latte uses FRESH espresso, not old coffee from the fridge.

Don’t blame servers for bad management: Nice weekend finished by breakfast; we’ve done it a bunch of times. Our party of 8 was served 7 meals....ok, so one was messed up or forgotten. After everyone was done and table was cleared (at least 20 minutes); other tables getting served full tickets, our server left to tell us that she was “yelled at” for asking to complete the table. She then felt compelled to pay for the meal out of her pocket when I took it in a box to go. No management or kitchen staff felt accountable to speak to us. It’s breakfast; let’s not get too upset - but my young, now crying server is not taking this in her pocket?! I paid her cash and full tip. Katy’s management hid behind bad decisions and their punishment is this bad review. Horrible actions angered all of us who likely won’t be back.

Seat yourself restaurant, which isn't an issue. However, it is an issue when the waitress allows their friends to cut the line and kick you out of a table. Will never eat here again and I recommend you do the same.

Maybe order to go? The food was very good, but not good enough to make up for the overall experience. Party of 2, new to this place but not to E'ville.

Went in Sunday morning expecting long waits everywhere, pleasantly surprised when this place wasn't very busy. Stood in the doorway awkwardly for a few minutes until a waitress walked by, asked her if we needed to put our name in or anything. Told us to seat ourselves with an attitude, like we were idiots for not knowing to do so.

Grabbed an empty table, sticky as the floor of a crappy movie theatre. Ordered drinks, black coffee and water. Waitress seemed sad & annoyed, blank stare with zero signs of life in her eyes. Ordered breakfast sandwiches, came out pretty quick. Food was awesome, back on track.

Finished eating for a while, wanting the check. Depressed waitress behind the counter on her iPhone, she's in no rush. Walk up to counter, ask for check. She hands it to me, no eye contact or other pleasantries. I ask for a to-go cup of black coffee, she looked at me like I asked her to build a time machine.

After processing my request she says Yes, but instead walks to the other end of the counter and strikes up a conversation with someone. A different girl behind the counter got me my coffee.

Bottom line; Order to-go, try somewhere else, or eat in.

Saturday afternoon drive. Stopped in Ellicotville. Nice little place. Got here just in time to get a late lunch. Wife had the pesto panini. I git the Happy Wanderer. Both were excellent and served with fresh ripple chips. Be sure you get here before four if you want sandwiches.

Way, way better than most "places of this type", which I would describe as: eggs in the morning, ice cream in the afternoon, coffee and sandwiches any time. On our first day in E'ville we dragged in for ice cream and coffee when we arrived around 3PM. The coffee was great: *strong enough* -- rare in "places of this type". Ice cream was good too, and you can get a milk shake made from real ice cream, if you ask, instead of the dribble from the machine. The second day we went in for breakfast. Eggs. On the third day we ordered ham and eggs. The ham was cut from a real ham. You know, not one of those round or square loaves made from pieces of meat glued together. Coffee again delicious. Eat inside or out. Clientele locals plus low-life tourists like us. Service with a smile. You'll come back. Or anyway, we did.

Fantastic food. It took a while for the food to come out but the wait was absolutely worth it. Not too expensive, only slightly crowded on a Sunday morning but that was expected on a winter weekend where many people were probably skiing at Holiday Valley.

We just ate breakfast at Katy's Cafe and it was amazing! The coffee had great flavor. The service was fast and nice. The food had amazing flavor. I recommend the breakfast burritos!

Ultra charming cafe, perfect for a lunch time stop whilst en route from Buffalo to Maryland. The food is healthy, hearty, and served in good proportions. They also have delicious coffee and nice outdoor seating.

We came in with 11 people and were asking if they had a spot we'd be able to sit with each other. Server stated just sit anywhere you want. Sat down at some tables and when she came over to wipe down tables down the tables and hand out menus, she hit me in the arm with her dirty rag, didn't apologize, and when I thanked her for the menu she ignored me. I had to say it again and she said d your welcome without even looking at me. Service is extremely rude.
