Favorite place, nicest people & best coffee

this place is great! I think it's the first place I ever tried cold brew coffee. They were the first as far as I know in the whole area. They don't do espresso here. Which is kind of weird. But their pour over coffee is so good so many single origin fresh roasted options to choose from and then get made for you in a personal pour over. It's actually a great business model for a cafe. Also, they have apparel available that are all very comfortable and stylish. They also have snacks available that are absolutely incredible. Very unique to this particular shop locally sourced Artisan goodies.

I go to this place a couple of times a year and they're legit - Philz style pour over coffee to order. They're beans are good single origin and they roast them themselves in a separate facility. The last two times I went, my coffee was a little watery, but I suspect it was a fluke with the grind, and not a problem with the recipe. Still the best cup in town as far as I know.

Amazing coffee! Probably my favorite in NJ. Love the simplicity of the coffees, not any of that fancy stuff that takes you 10 minutes to tell them your order. Nicaragua is by far my favorite and their cold brew is great for hot summer days! My only complaint is there isn't any locations outside of Monmouth county. I wish they would put one in Mercer county!

Rook coffee has become a staple of the Jersey Shore locals. The coffee is always fresh and they come up with killer flavor's and their Social media presence is on point. We are here at a MINIMUM 5-7 times a week. You won't regret it 😉

Always a 10/10. Rook never disappoints!

Honestly, I consider Rook Coffee to be liquid gold, and everyone I encounter says exactly the same thing! I have two Starbucks and three Dunkin locations within 1.5 miles of the office... I make sure to go out of my way, passing them all, to make it to Rook Coffee and get my Guatemalan (Black/no sugar). The environment is relaxing, and the service is top notch. Their Order-by-text service is bar none! Love this place!

Let me start by saying I love Rook, I go to Rook almost daily and absolutely love their coffee. The issue is this specific location, the staff is straight up RUDE.
I am completely understanding of this business being busy... however that’s not a reason for the staff to be completely nasty to their patrons. They act like they are doing you a huge favor by selling you expensive coffee.

Best coffee, the Wall location is great too. I really like the people there.
Every time I go in there there is at least one person who asks the kids behind the counter about the coffee how to order it and instead of being coffee snobs they take their time and really explain to them what the flavors are the sizes and what you can put in your coffee.
Totally different than the Starbucks down the street where the girls are always nasty and act like they hate you and their job!!

Absolutely love coming here! Was recommended by a friend in my college class to try them and boy was she right! The baristas are so friendly, their soy milk is delicious and it's such a cute little set up! I only come once or twice a month because I live in Ocean County, not Monmouth, and I visit after my trips to Whole Foods, but it's so worth it. Such a great coffee place- love, love, love it!!!
