Gilchrist Restaurant

Found through Google and Yelp and decided to check this place out since it was recommended by locals.... when we got there it was packed, but they were turning tables quickly . I requested a table outside for 6 and we were sat within 10 min! I was shocked! Service was great as well as prices!
I ordered everything alacarte (1 pancake, 1 egg, 2 crab cakes) and I'm so glad I did. Everyone else at the table had good food , but mine was amazing! The crab cakes were so big I took one of them home for lunch! The pancakes are super thin and are so good! Will definitely be going back if I'm in the area again!

I enjoyed my time at the Gilchrist Restaurant. I ordered the #2 off the Hungry Man's menu. The food was good (not overly salty or greasy) and the staff moved like a well-oiled machine.

Overall high light was the banana hotcakes!

Everything was great. They were very friendly and attentive. The one thing I do not like is how they write up the bill. No prices so you don't know what you are being charged when you go to the register.

Breakfast on the bay, what could be better. The best blueberry pancakes in the world. A true gem of Atlantic City.

The customer was great. They accommodated our request to move inside due to the weather fairly quickly. The food came out fast and my meal was delicious! I definitely want to come back here again.

Nice place with reasonable prices, great food and a wonderful wait staff. Expect a wait in the summer, but it's well worth it

Food and service was good. Was very cold and windy. They should've out down the protective screen to make it more comfortable.

This place is an absolute gem. There is nothing fancy on the menu , but the execution is exceptional. The pancakes were so good we stayed an extra day and went back.
