You know I don't have pancakes or hotcakes in the mainland. But these hotcakes 🥞!!!! Had the chocolate chip ones didn't need syrup. Also tried the NJ's pork roll it had a smokey flavor. Had a taste of the grits and having them when I come back. The service amazing.

Food, service, and hospitality was on point with this restaurant. It was very cold outside so the owner took my number down and let me wait in the car, and she called me when our table was ready. The waiters and the owner were super friendly and even when we came during rush hour, we got our food out in less than 10 minutes. Food was amazing and affordable!! I’m definitely coming back every time I come to Atlantic City!

I'm totally being crazy and giving this restaurant a five star review because their pancakes are SLAMMIN!!!
Honestly, all the food was good (any place that lets you choose grits or potatoes is a win for me too) but the pancakes stole the show for me. The pancake texture is super airy not like cakey but airy. This made the texture super extra enjoyable. Whatever the recipe is that they are using I've got to figure out because I live too far to bit be able to have this regularly.
Seriously enjoyed my veggie omelette and my husband really enjoyed his breakfast platter. We decided to sleep in at the hotel and order delivery brunch so we could have a slow/easy day. The food did not disappoint!
I'll definitely be back and snooping around for a pancake recipe too 😜.

I've heard people rave about their breakfast for years and have sent many people there.
Tried it for the first time. Not the least impressed..
Pork roll and cheese omelette was fair. Small portion.... hardly any cheese....
The supposed fresh baked bagel was below par and certainly not fresh baked.
Home fries were beyond bland.
Never go back and never ever recommend again

Had really high hopes for this place. Saw a bunch of reviews saying this was the place to eat in AC. Walking in I was even more excited as it has that fisherman’s vibe to it. Almost like a locals secret gem. Gem it was not. The food was all very average to below average. They claim they have the best pancakes and they honestly tasted like a box you would get from your local Acme. The over easy eggs were ok. My buddy got the scrambled eggs platter and didn’t want to finish it. Which he normal eats everything in his path. The staff was nice. But the bill was $61 for 3 people for breakfast. I live in the city and I am use to high prices but sheesh that was insane. Especially for the quality of food you got. Save yourself sometime if you are in AC and just go to a casino buffet. Better food and save yourself some money.

My GF knows my crave for tasty meals is top notch. If she asks "how is the food? And I Answer Good" . They get a rating from me. The meal was worth the 30minutes wait. The waiters deserve more than the tip I gave. I'll be back.

Used to go here all the time. Went back for first time in 5 years and not only have prices doubled, they don’t put the prices on the bill and get annoyed when you ask for it broken down at the register.
Still the best pancakes in the world though.

Super tasty diner breakfast here at a classic, long-running (1946?!) establishment right near the old fishing boats a stone’s throw from beachy views of Atlantic City. Friendly, warm, comfy spot serving hot food with honesty and unpretentious verve. Enjoyed the many smiles and the tables of locals and regulars. Family friendly with a menu for all ages. Hearty selection of regular fav’s, and indeed good pancakes - at a minimum, split the short stack. Nice sanctuary in winter, including warm indoor/outdoor seating, would love to return in summer. What views by the water! May they serve another 70 years.

It was such a pleasure to eat out on the water with the food being so simple yet so great! Shrimp Po-Boy and blueberry pancakes were amazing along with their omelets!!!
