From the business

"Hub Cafe has its roots at Branched Oak Farm, a certified organic, grass-based dairy. The dream began to blossom in the summer of 2014 when the city of Lincoln and the Great Plains Trails Network agreed to share the vision for the cafe space. The project came to life with a combined passion for bringing authentic and delicious, healthy and locally-sourced food to Lincoln. Since opening in late January 2016, Hub Cafe has shown itself to be a comfortable and affordable coffee shop, breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner venue with great local brews on tap and a thoughtful wine list. We provide delicious, vegetarian-friendly, creative, and modern menu choices that are created with food sourced primarily in our food community."

Lovely bunch of young people, good fresh food, masks on! Good options and fast service. The prices are good and the teapots are pretty.

Food was delicious! They have a wonderful variety and at a decent price point. -1 star for outside seating atmosphere. There is no music or ambient noise being played and left the area feeling exposed. Was a little hard to feel comfortable to have a conversation knowing all the tables around you could easily listen in. Inside is a different story. Music playing great atmosphere!

One of my fav coffee shops in Lincoln. Amazing food and atmosphere

There is nothing on your website that says you only serve breakfast until 11AM and then switch over to a ‘lunch’ menu (that still allows you to get eggs!) In fact, there’s no mention of a lunch menu at all. I walked 20 minutes from the Marriott, arrived at 11.15 and was not able to get items on the one menu you have on your website!

The food was not up to expectations, the cafe shows careless workers sitting around drinking coffee. There are way better places in lincoln with cheaper prices and better food. I recommend not getting the breakfast bowl. Never have I thought of food as disappointing until I tasted this horrible creation.

Comfortable outdoor seating, consistently delicious food, amazing local ingredients, ample bike parking, & gracious service. Could not ask for more!

Cute cafe in a unique location. My only complaint is the menu items are a little expensive, and there aren't smaller portions available.

This was my second visit to the café. the first time it was awesome - this time it was the equivalent of a village Inn for food). Unavailable menu items, food not cooked as ordered, The dishes that used to be super flavorful (huevos ranchos and breakfast potatoes )were just bland The quality of food did not match the pricing. Aesthetic of the café is cool however I got I will go back to try it a third time

Great breakfast spot that I didn't know existed. Unique menu options for food and tasty cocktails too. Chill atmosphere. The line to order can get quite long if you don't get there early.

This is a very trendy place with great food. If you make minor adjustments to your expectations you will have an excellent experience.
1.) The food is very good. The adult grilled cheese if phenomenal.
2.) The service is slow. It just is. Don't stop here if you are in a hurry. If you have time to kill and are patient, you will have a nice experience.
3.) Do not expect everyone in your party to get their food at the same time. In fact, you can expect significant differences in timing of the food. 3 of our party of 4 were done eating before our 4th was served. Normally I would wait for everyone to be served before eating but we saw this was pretty standard at all of the tables. I would forego this formality at The Hub.
