From the business
"Hub Cafe has its roots at Branched Oak Farm, a certified organic, grass-based dairy. The dream began to blossom in the summer of 2014 when the city of Lincoln and the Great Plains Trails Network agreed to share the vision for the cafe space. The project came to life with a combined passion for bringing authentic and delicious, healthy and locally-sourced food to Lincoln. Since opening in late January 2016, Hub Cafe has shown itself to be a comfortable and affordable coffee shop, breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner venue with great local brews on tap and a thoughtful wine list. We provide delicious, vegetarian-friendly, creative, and modern menu choices that are created with food sourced primarily in our food community."

Yum x100! You have no idea (other than word of mouth) by looking at the place from the outside, how great it really is. The biscuits and gravy didn't disappoint and I loved my avocado 🥑 toast and chai latte! Perfect experience!

My first time coming to this place. It was a total surprise, but I LOVED the atmosphere. The music was on par, the staff were lovely and my squash Bahn mi was perfection. Recommend getting a pistachio donut and an iced coffee while you're there, too. Will definitely be coming back in the future to enjoy the park and the ambiance!

Enjoyed this place so much, we went back the next day. We spent several days in Lincoln after driving from Houston. We were new to the city and had no idea where a great breakfast place was. Glad we chose this place after a bit of research. Menu is full of great items, including vegetarian and vegan options. They also have outdoor seating. It’s been a couple of weeks, so I can’t remember the names of the menu items, but enjoy the photos. :)

Ohhhhhh snap lemme tell you bout this place. The food is good. Lots of little snow bunnies go here for sure. The original side is packed. Its insane. I feel like chicks named karen would eat here. The huevos rancheros couldnt more americanized. But the coffee..... Oh man that coffee. It literally has my soul. After about a 40 minute wait my food came out and it was good. This place was new to me so it was good.

The hipsters have arrived in Lincoln. Food and coffee was good. Sandwich was small so I'm glad I got a parfait to go with it. Somewhat expensive but the area is beautiful. Creek nearby has been redesigned for walking and biking and it's really well done.

French toast was good.
Was very disappointed that the cappuccino was overly acidic and bitter. We tolerated a few sips to get some caffeine and left the rest of the drink, was almost inedible.

This was my very first time coming to The Hub Cafe. I was very surprised by how good the food was. I ordered a avocado toast with out the pickled onions, I preferred without pickled onion but I think it would taste good with onions. I also ordered a iced latte with caramel syrup. The food was soo good 10/10 recommend!

I was excited to go to this place because of the locally sources food, but the loud, harsh music really did not match the vibe of the place and made it uncomfortable. They were playing beastie boys or some other band where the music is just a loud beat and someone shouting about violence, which is ok but was just did not make for a relaxing meal environment. My mac was also a little cold in the middle. I’d recommend the chorizo over the pulled pork. Service was fast at least and the location has a nice view.
