From the business
"Hub Cafe has its roots at Branched Oak Farm, a certified organic, grass-based dairy. The dream began to blossom in the summer of 2014 when the city of Lincoln and the Great Plains Trails Network agreed to share the vision for the cafe space. The project came to life with a combined passion for bringing authentic and delicious, healthy and locally-sourced food to Lincoln. Since opening in late January 2016, Hub Cafe has shown itself to be a comfortable and affordable coffee shop, breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner venue with great local brews on tap and a thoughtful wine list. We provide delicious, vegetarian-friendly, creative, and modern menu choices that are created with food sourced primarily in our food community."

I'm sad I have to give this rating. This used to be my favorite place, I don't know what happened to it. The coffee taste burnt, my food was cold. Sad...

Some of the best food our family has had in a long time. We all tried something different and it was all very good.

Love the place. I like the decorations. The good is good. I ordered Huevos Rancheros. The taste is good and the food is fresh.

Very tasty food! I had the chicken bulgogi tacos and they were fantastic. I tried the sausage, biscuits, and sage gravy and they were delicious as well! It is a bit of a hipster place and more liberal than what most Nebraskans would like but if you appreciate good food you can look past that and have a nice breakfast!

Stopped in from out of town... Service was good. The food was just "ok". Nothing really special. Mimosas was good but a little small for the price. Could definitely be a little better but i cant complain too much.

Friendly staff. Already a few people having coffee. French toast was generous and tasty. My omelette was good and the whole milk was a treat. Wife's omelette was a little oily and not as good. The thin crispy "toast" was more a garnish than food. Bisquits and gravy was also good portions and very tasty with the sausage crumbles.

I ordered an omelet. The wait for food was 40 minutes. The potatoes were cold. The omelet was less than average. When I asked for jam for my bread, they told me it would be an extra $.75 and we would have to stand in line again to get it.
