St. Louis Bread Co.

Ordered a grilled cheese, they literally could not manage to take the paper off the cheese. Spoke with the manager Shelby, who sent out a new sandwich but clearly did not actually care about the issue.

I got a Fuji apple with chicken salad. The chicken did not even taste like chicken. It was nasty.

Only 3 minutes from my house, it is so convenient. I love the steak and white chedder sandwich they have. I am not looking forward to the day they discontinue it. I hope it will be a permanent item on their menu.

I live nearby so that’s the only Panera company near me unfortunately. Every time I place an order there’s something missing. Mainly they have problems with condiments and getting the order right. Never fails. What a disappointment. You have one job Panera! Learn how to read the order. And why ask for car color and model, as well as parking spot, if you still deliver it to the wrong car? 🤦‍♀️
Edit: I called and spoke to the manager who offered a free meal next time I come in. So at least they acknowledged it. Just check your order before you leave. I’ll upgrade the rating once I get 3 orders in a row that filled correctly.

I'm not sure what's going on here, this used to be a decent place to get healthier food. The last three times we have ordered, our order has been wrong. We order through drive thru for take home and it's not good when your missing items or your request for changes to a item are ignored. We don't plan on going back here after our last visit.

They never have soufflés. You’d really think they’d have come up with a better system for their soufflés by now. Don’t offer them if you can’t provide them ever. Doesn’t matter if it’s 8:00 or 6:00, they’ll be out. Then if they have them, they’ll throw them away right in front of you and tell you that you can’t buy them because they’ve sat too long.

I ordered the ceaser salad, and since I'm vegetarian, I said to have no animal products in it. The waitress brought the food and then I saw it had dressing. That dressing has MILK products. I asked to exchange the food and asked for no dressing, but when the food arrived back to me, it STILL had dressing in it. The waitress just sprinkled some more breadcrums to cover it. If I could, I would give this place 0 stars. The woman that served us looked mad when i told her about being vegetarian. The customer service was horrible.

This location is great. One time I had an issue with delivery, no big deal, they couldn't find my address. So, the gm actually brought my food along with a complimentary pastry that was huge. If something does go wrong with your order be patient, they will definitely go out of their way to make it up to you. Can't say that for many places.

I order from here just about every day now, and wanted to let you guys know how awesome you do! The food is always fresh, and the one time I had an item be forgotten.. It was at my house less than 10 minutes after calling about it! And the delivery drivers are SO sweet! I didn't catch her name, but the woman who delivered my order today was AMAZING, and made my entire morning! I hope you all are treated well by the company, you deserve the world!

Update 2/27/2019 - Had to lower my review...I went there my wife and child because we had a gift card. Lunch was $42, we just ordered the 1/2 and 1/2, nothing crazy. Seems a little steep, food was OK. The worst part was that the worker mentioned that they can't afford to eat there when not working because they don't get a discount if not working. Give me a break, Bread Co can't afford to give their employees a percentage discount regardless if they are working or not working!!!! I am sure I will be back at some point, but most of the time I will pass by in favor of different restaurant. Please give my review a thumbs up if you find it helpful.

Original Review - Always good food, fresh and healthy. My only reason for not giving a 5 star was that I ordered a bread bowl and it seemed as if they did not fill or take out enough of the bread. Another person in our group order a regular bowl of soup and it seemed that they had more soup than the bread bowl did. However, the food was still great!
