I prefer my book made of dead trees instead of from electrons, and I prefer buying books at a brick and mortar shop instead of online portals. There's something very satisfying about holding a book in your hands, and leisurely leafing through it before buying it. Whenever I fly in to the US, it's a rare opportunity for buying English books. Barnes & Noble is my favourite destination for that. The shops are laid out well, and the sections are easy to find. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The bargains section is a place to find some rare gems at a very good price.

I rarely get to come here and not have one of my kids have a meltdown. To be honest it's mortifying. This time my 4 year old didn't want to give her toy to the cashier. Rather then shaming me or getting irritated towards her (which often happens elsewhere) someone else came over from the middle island of the store and was bubbly and tried to bargain with my daughter so she never had to let go of her toy. The store is nicely laid out. Staff is top notch. We enjoy this more than some other book stores.

Cashier Leah was very rude, was inconvenienced that we didn’t have a barcode on a book to purchase and she had a line so instead of helping us she pushed us to the side to help the other customers behind me while we waited on them. Extremely rude, telling me to be patient as she pushed me to the side because she was too slow at checking out and created a lone.

One of the if not the best book stores around theirs a lot more than just books as well theirs some toys for kids not many tho. Theirs also a good collection of D and D orented things like figyors and books. The customer service is grate and the people who work their are vary nice.

What am I going to do when all of the physical bookstores close down? Barnes & Noble is great because you can peruse the shelves for hours and even read in there without judgement. They have a wonderful kids section, and sometimes will put on events for children. Obviously they are pretty expensive, but it is worth it to feel like a kid in a candy store.
