Best fish basket in the state. Deck overlooking the fishing boats and a cute shop with "fishy" provisions. We're 2hrs away and always bring out of town guests here.

Want a decent fish and chip or chicken abs chips it’s a must stop I had the Walleye and Chips wife and daughter had the chicken and chips all meals excellent. Plus they have smoked fish , herring fish, cheese , baked goods cookies pies. We would definitely eat here again.

Just ate here yesterday. We had fish chowder, fish tacos, and fish and chips ( both walleye and herring). Everything we had was very good, would highly recommend eating here. Staff was friendly and service was quick. They have nice covered outdoor deck with pretty view to enjoy while eating your food too!

You can't beat the morning caught fresh fish and chips. Inside/outside dinning. Smoked fish and other food items for purchase as well. Friendly people, friendly priced and very delicious!

The food was delicious, service was quick, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the walleye fish n chips. It was some of the best walleye I ever had. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful food! Fish and chips is a favorite. Love the deli and the smoked fish, especially the salmon.

Excellent bowl of smoked salmon chowder. Took a half pound smoked steelhead to enjoy later. A must stop for me.

Food was amazing as always. We ate later in the day on Sunday, so maybe the girl that took our order was tired from the weekend rush. She was not very friendly.

I loved the food here! I ordered to go on my way up to the trails around gunflint trail. I got the fish and chips with herring. I had overheard that it was fresh caught that morning and it is more signature of the region of the North shore. Excellent flavor, fried perfectly, delicious fries, and wonderful slaw. To those who haven't had herring these nugget sized fish pieces have a gentle but noticeable flaky fish flavor somewhere between tuna and tilapia. It is more tender but less moist than whitefish. I have had whitefish around Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan and would recommends getting the white fish here. Herring was still delicious! They had a very cool and unique shop in there as well with lots of homemade kitchen goods, apparel, books, homemade jams, frozen fish products, and small fridge with restaurant made deli items.

Great little shop with taste treats and more! Nice deck overlooking the harbor. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Be aware that the fried foods are very heavily fried. The salads and fish were delicious.
