Great food. I love the location in Madisonville too. Im unhappy that I called ahead to find out the wait time, and she responded, "I cant say, you need to go online and bla bla bla". What?? just tell me if theirs a line...In any case I almost went somehwere else but I knew the food was good and the service is usually friendly.

This is for the Abita R C. In the Village Walk. I came in just to get 1 little scone. That is all. 8:45 a.m. October 13th. 2022.
I stood at the counter.
At the counter mind you.
I saw the girl behind the counter. Not once.

Not one single time in my 15 minutes of standing all alone at the counter did she ever make eye contact.

Not once.

She was making some coffee's for some tickets she had in front of her. You would think that in all the time I stood there at the counter, all alone, she would have acknowledged me. Maybe just have told me that she will be right with me.

The one in Madisonville is like a polite and well run operation. This location was dreadful. You have the day and the date and the time. Mr. Belsum can figure out who it was.
As I was getting closer to the time for my 9 a m. appointment, I had to depart. Empty handed.

No acknowledgement. People, please do not tolerate treatment from this type of service sector. Employers should not tolerate this form of lack customer service.

First time going here. Went with my 13yr old son. We loved breakfast. The pancakes were so good. Both dishes we had was very good. Glad we googled and decided to stop here.

We've ALWAYS loved this place: food & coffee (quality/taste consistently delish), ambiance, staff always great- BUT TODAY felt EVEN BETTER...couldn't put my finger on what exactly made it better. Come to find out, they're under new management~ Josh Dutruch is a wonderful addition to this company who clearly cares about consistency & quality product for their customers. (Dig the new sweatshirts too).

This place is pretty busy at lunch times on Saturdays, but we didn't have to wait long to get a table. They have a lot of seating, but aren't practicing social distancing guidelines inside. If that bothers you, I wouldn't advise going right now. Wide variety on the menu. Pretty good food, for the price.

Food is always so good no matter what you get and the staff is super friendly! Great atmosphere and great food! (Really good portions too)

Waited 35 minutes for chicken salad croissant sandwiches. Watched employees clowning around. Asked someone to check on my order. I was told they were busy. How long does it take to put cold chicken on bread? Drive thru is only for breakfast? Terrible service. Don't recommend. Won't be back.

I went here with my wife and daughter. They have a nice menu with something for everyone in addition to great coffee and cocktails. I had breakfast while my family had dinner fare. BTW the pancakes were the best I had in a very long time (outside of my wife's). Generous portions were served. Our server, Morgan, was working very hard and was a pleasant young lady. She was attentive to keep our beverages full and kept us updated on the status of our order. The atmosphere was very nice and clean. The other server was also very nice and working hard. Once again Morgan was a standout server.

Awful, awful Awful. My husband and I used to eat breakfast here at least 2-3 times a week and stopped because the service was so awful. Waiters and waitresses gathered up together ignoring all the customers and goofing off. After giving our business to another establishment for a number of months we decided to try them out again for dinner. Tables were not cleared off and just a mess. New wait staff again and no improvement. We have waited over an hour for a hamburger and wrap. Still waiting. Don't waste your precious time and money.

Okay so first of all, the coffee was amazing!! Like really good! I got the mocha arctic which reminded me of cc's coffee. Very strong and rich. Now the food: I got chicken and waffles. I was expecting home made battered chicken. Honestly it tasted like gas station chicken tenders. Not very fresh either. While the waffles had a good flavor, they were extremely thin and the syrup was dark but surprisingly wasn't very flavored. We also got another plate with hashbrowns, bacon and eggs. The eggs were super watery even though we asked for over medium and the serving size was much smaller than I expected. If this was a place that was not out of my way, I would absolutely get coffee from here but I wouldn't eat here again. And being out of my way, I wouldn't bother to drive out of my way to get coffee.Overall atmosphere was nice but we literally saw out waitress twice. Once to order and once to get our checks and even then we had to wait on her... disappointed and wish the good was much better.
