My mom and I took a day-cationed to the tea room. We were greated with friendly staff that not only complemented my mom's dress, but after learning it was our first time, made sure we had excellent seating. Our waitress was sweet and extremely knowledgeable of the different teas. A whole different waitress than our own made sure we got a picture with the queen. The food was delicious as we well the tea. The whole experience was so much fun! We will be returning soon!

Wonderful selection of decaf teas for me - which was amazing! And scones were amazing as always! Love the atmosphere - had our tea on the porch! Love this place!

Perfect for a ladies day out. You can make reservations or simply drop by. Indoor and outdoor dining. They have different teas to choose from and you can drink as much as you want, they'll just keep refiling your tea pot. Family atmosphere. They also have the Winston Churchill room for the gentlemen.

This was my first time visiting and will continue to return. It is one of those must visit places in old Covington if you are visiting the North Shore.

Are you feeling fancy? Do you want to enjoy some proper tea time? The English Tearoom is the place for you. In historic downtown Covington, the place is filled with English art and/or memoirs.

The tea menu is ginormous, perfect for people wanting to try something new or explore their taste in the tea world. The staff members are keen to helping you find the perfect one for you, utilize them!

Food wise, quite good! I won't say it's mindblowing delicious, but it definitely compliments the teas. Make sure you take a few people so you can try multiple brews!!

The English tea room is one my utmost favorite places to go. Love the atmosphere and charm. The staff are always extremely nice and helpful. The selection of tea is everything you hope for and the food is excellent. Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation!

We had the most memorable Bridal Tea Time here. The food and teas were delicious. With 7 grand daughters, I see future tea dates to come.

I love the Tea Room. The theming is excellent and boats photos and art work of the royal family both past and present, locations and events in British history, and a life size red phone booth. The tables are set with tea cups and sugar cubes. You can choose an assortment of English fare and tea is $5.95 with unlimited refills. You can try a many teas as you like either hot or iced. There are 6 pages of teas to try. I highly recommend the hot vanilla chai and the iced blue eyes (fruity) or iced mothers bouquet (floral) tea.

Highly recommend a reservation because it's a small location and very popular.

Really love this place. Went for Valentines and then went back to take my sister-in-law the next week. Food and service excellent experience. The decor and teas are exceptional. Really enjoyed ourselves. Relaxed and tried several different teas. Thought the one bathroom decor was royal. Felt like a queen! Would recommend for special occasions and just to feel pampered. We will definitely be back. Recommend reservations.

First off, I love coming here and I come here often. I’m giving it 3 stars because I find they’re getting a little crazy with their price for tea. I went with my 2 daughters (3 and 5) and ordered 2 orders of scones and one pot of tea. The total was over $30. It came out to roughly $21 for the one pot of tea because they charge per person. How much tea do you think my kids are going to drink!? We didn’t even refill it. I think it’s a bit crazy to charge $7 a person for tea. The tea and scones was $13 and change each.

They also very frequently don’t have everything on their menu, but I overheard that they’re in the process of getting new menus. The price on the menu is also not the price you pay and they don’t tell you that upfront
