Oh how do I give this Tea House proper justice? It’s an escape,...the atmosphere & hospitality takes you back to a different day & time. The food is always topnotch (especially the chicken salad sliders on basil scones, the spinach quiche & their spring mix salad with the house made dressing)! When you order a pot of tea along with that comes a free pass to try any and as many of the teas you’d like from the large menu during your visit. It is divine! Every single time I’m here, it feels as if it’s been 30 minutes when 3 hours have flown by! Thank you for bringing this place to our city! 🤗

I have enjoyed many afternoons with a delicious cup of tea and a savory or sweet scone. The staff is very knowledgeable about tea and couldn't be more helpful. Their menu has something for everyone to enjoy. I've met the owners on a few occasions and you couldn't ask for nicer people.

I highly recommend the English Tea Room. Sit inside or out depending on the day (Louisiana gets hot outside). They offer several great dishes, some of my favorites:
•Buckingham Bake
•Bangers and Mash
•The Leek Soup
•Eggs Benedict

I was craving a bagel. I looked up for bagel places in the area. The website says they have bagels flown in from New York. I walked in and said I wanted a bagel to go. I was told they no longer have them. Umm...then why does your website say you not only have them but fly them in from NYC?

After a spot of delicious tea and scones(actual), wife had Bagel and Lox, whilst I had a most hearty Shepard's Pie with a homemade salad and a savory scone.

Service was good. If you can, reserve the table right outside by the kitchen door. If you weren't hungry, you will be when your food is served. Wonderful atmosphere and setting. Highly recommend.

Incredible service and delightful teas and scones! We showed up without a reservation and the hostess was amazingly patient in working with us to find a table to fit our party. The waiters were attentive and pleasant, and we’re planning to make ETR a weekly treat!

It's a quaint little tearoom that seems like it came right out of england. The tea menu is enormous, and a little daunting for an indecisive person. I really love their tomato soup, and their scones are so good. We sometimes buy frozen ones to eat at home later. I'd definitely recommend for a date day with your spouse, or with a group of friends for the special nights they have. My wife would give this place 5 stars, as she loves going there.

Awesome experience! Wonderful, flavorful food.

Very small circular scones instead of traditional and ample sized triangle. So roughly $15. with tip for one cold iced tea and two cookie sized scones with lemon curd and cream. The tea is good, many choices. Sat outside on the side patio and there was definitely a sewerage odor near our table.

The tea and scones are incredible but sadly, the other items we ordered were lacking in texture and flavor. The Cadbury hot chocolate was delicious but cold. The Scottish egg was rubbery and squeaky when I chewed it and after one bite, I left it on the plate. The fruit salad tasted of vinegar, almost as if it had fermented. A beautiful, charming little place but the food was very disappointing.

This place is amazing!!! Anyone that goes: Ladies, Men, and Children will enjoy themselves. The food, tea, and service is spot on!!! The atmosphere takes you back to old England. I love the special events that take place as well. My friends and I attended a Downton Abbey event. It was so fun!!!
