The food and coffee are good but would I wait 25+ minutes for it on my way to work while the employees are moving at turtle speed? Nah go somewhere else if you don’t have time to kill

Absolutely must visit! Sweet potato beignets are to die for and so is the pecan maple chicken and waffles!! Big coffee place with many options, and staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We were just passing through, and it's definitely worth it to stop at!!

So the food was AMAZING! My husband and I were getting away for the weekend and this was one of the places we ate. Food was AMAZING and service was great. The only bad thing was there was a group of 20 something year olds there for the entire hour and a half my husband and I were there. The group had gotten there before us and there were about 10 of them. They were ording bottomless mimosas and they we watched them order 6 rounds but they had more to drink before we arrived, according to our server. Well they were so loud and they were cursing up a storm and the conversations they had were so inappropriate. There were children at every table near by and some were so uncomfortable that they got up and left before finishing their meals. After an hour and a half I had enough and I laid into them and they were finally quiet, paid their bills, and left. The business really should have stopped serving them and they should have asked the group to quiet down or leave. I would definitely go back because the food and service was worth it but I hope the business doesn't allow that behavior anymore.

Have never had anything but great service and food at Abita Roasting. Staff is polite, ambience is stellar, and food is out of the world. My favorite is the Mango Panko Taco.

This place is great. Food, staff, and location are all excellent. Its relaxed and decent ambiance includes images of historic Covington which is nice. We've gone with our little barbarians and the staff is always very accommodating. The sweet potato souflee and omletes are amazing- everything is delicious.

Found this gem by good fortune on the way back from Destin to Houston. It had excellent reviews and looked like something a bit different from the norm. We tend to avoid chains as much as possible and go to places with a unique experience. We weren’t disappointed and the extra 10 mins from the highway was well rewarded. This breakfast was their Huevos Rancheros Benedict. It was nicely balanced, well portioned and perfectly cooked. The beans, corn, salsa and chorizo topped with benedict was a stupendous combination. The hash browns were nicely crispy and the egg cooked perfect. Can’t wait to visit again! Their coffee is also blockbuster and offers plenty of choice depending on your preference.

5 stars across the board. The service was great, the food was delicious and fresh, I had the club sandwich with fries, the fries were awesome too.

The breakfast was not great. The over easy eggs. One was one wasn't. Not sure what was in the grits but didn't finish them. Service was great.

Not entirely sure what has happened, they are understaffed, utensils aren't cleaned, floors are dirty and sadly this was my favorite breakfast place. Maybe if management was present they can turn it around. 🤔

One of our favorite places to have breakfast on the weekend. Not only do they have great food they have a big selection of coffee, beans and drinks. The s’mores coffee was a big hit this last time we went. I also tried the new Avocado toast and it didn’t disappoint. If you are around the downtown Covington area and need a bite or just a cup of coffee, make sure to stop here.
