Amazing coffee and great service. I met some friends there for lunch we brought our babies and they were very friendly. There was plenty of space to sit and the waitress was very patient with us! The food was great as well. I would recommend the chicken salad croissant it was delicious!
It has an amazing atmosphere! I will be going again!

Food was delicious and service was great. Our wait was about 20 mins for brunch on a Sunday, but it didn’t bother us because they have a small park out front and a bag throw game.

Great lunch spot, decent food.
The takeout service could use some work. They gave me someone else’s order and I didn’t have time to go back and switch it out.

Food was okay. Eggs remind you of high school lunch. Fried chicken was good had a nice touch of spice but not overally powerful. Seated quickly. Waitress was friendly.

Absolutely amazing brunch!! Server was fast, thorough and knowledgeable. Try the bayou omelet or the cajun praline chicken and waffles! The coffee was roasted and brewed fresh. The peppermint latte was a delight. I cant wait to visit again!

Ordered $35 of food tonight for pickup. Went I got there, I gave the young man in drive-thru a $10 gift card and my credit card. He tells me there's nothing on the gift card. I pull up the balance online and show him. With a bad attitude, he stills says there's no balance on the gift card and says he's just going to put the entire meal on my credit card. I ask to speak to the manager and she says the same thing. Then she says she put $10 on the gift card and tried to give it back to me. I said no. I didn't need her to do that. She supposedly used the gift card and I eventually paid for the balance of my meal with my credit card.

I understand things happen, but this is the 2nd time I've had problems at the Covington location while trying to use a gift card. Last summer, I tried to use a $10 gift card for a $25 meal. Gave the waitress the gift card and my credit card. When she gives me my bill it doesn't show the gift card being used. I asked her about it and she says the gift card didn't have anything on it. I pay for the meal with my credit card and go inside to see what was the problem with the gift card. It had been thrown away. Another person gets the card and was able to figure out there was $10 on it, and gives it back to me after I had paid for the entire meal with my credit card.

Unfortunately after the customer experiences I have, I will not look to visit this location anymore.

My husband and I had a wonderful breakfast at Abita Roasting Co. There are so many choices on the menu it was hard to decide. He choice one of the crepe dishes and I had a traditional dish. He said the crepes were delicious and he would order them again. I had the scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, grits, hashbrowns, a biscuit and a pancake. It was a LOT of food. Fortunately, my husband helped me to eat some of it and I brought home a biscuit the size of a small saucer. Their coffee was hot and freshly brewed. The young woman who served us was friendly and very efficient. She was busy with white a few tables but kept our coffee cups full and made sure we didn't need anything. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other breakfast or lunch offerings.

After Mande’s Restaurant closed almost a year ago, I've tried many breakfast places, including Abita Roasting in Madisonville. None of it has compared to a 41yr old establishment like Mande’s until today.
Abita Roasting in Covington had not only great food but the staff was attentive and on top of everything. Starting with the friendly hostess who greeted us as she passed although busily taking care of other customers to the two guys who brought all of our food out together hot and as ordered. Then to top off our experience today was our waitress, LIBERTY. It’s so rare to get great service at most restaurants. Having worked in the industry for 8yrs I have certain expectations as a customer. Liberty was attentive, efficient, friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the experience that you should have when eating out at a restaurant.

Great atmosphere and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating!
I would recommend an extra shot of espresso in any flavored drinks because I couldn't taste the coffee in the cookies and cream coffee.

First time I came here was absolutely terrible but it seemed like only my order out if the three of us was messed up. Despite the long wait that time, we still enjoyed it.

This time around, the place had easily twice as many people and our service and food was phenomenal. I had the chicken omelet and it was amazing. Woke up feeling very ill and needed some rich food and this did the job. In the end, we paid as much for breakfast as you would at any other restaurant but left feeling significantly more satisfied.
