I ordered cookies for homecoming in October along with some petit fours. When I arrived the morning of the party, I was told they forgot my petit four order and below are the cookies I received ($100). I was shocked .. I was offered a credit for half the amount but the manager told me she had to keep the slip for the credit at the bakery behind the counter. When I went back today, to buy two king cakes the manager was rude, abrasive and told me I only had 60 days to use the credit. I had no idea as I didn’t receive a slip to keep with me. She was rude and yelled at me to get out. I’ve never had an encounter like this ever in my life. We will not ever return to Nonna Randazzos.

I drive about 45 minutes, one way, to get their king cakes. The staff is always friendly, there's no long line to wait in, and I always leave with my king cakes. Manny Randazzo's in Kenner is a different story. I drive about 1 hour, one way, in the morning, just to either stand in their long line for about an hour and deal with their not as friendly attitudes or they're closed because they're already sold out of king cakes. I feel like Manny's doesn't really care about the customer. On the other hand, I feel that Nonna's does care about the customers. Nonna's is my go to place for king cakes. Bonus: I just saw that they have a blackout cake! I will be trying that soon!

Ordered on line a supposedly FILLED CREAM CHEESE KING CAKE to be shipped to Alexandria, La.
This king cake was not stuffed at all! The cream cheese was spread very lightly on the top and covered with the very sweet icing.
Totally disappointed especially paying $69.00 for the cake. I have gotten filled king cakes from Nonna's when I was in the area and they were stuffed properly and delicious. The king cake was delicious but was missing cream cheese stufffing. I will never order on line from them again.

One of my new favorites!

Whoa, just whoa! I am absolutely blown away by the place as a whole! This place should be called Coffee, Confections, and Christ! It has got all three.

Confections - I ordered two macarons. Chocolate ❤️ and anise. I loved the chocolate one. I ordered the anis one knowing I don’t like that flavor, but I’ll keep trying anise flavored things until I like it. They did the cookie well, I am just not a fan of anis flavoring. I tried the cannoli 🙌 this place actually makes a good cannoli! I haven’t had a cannoli I have actually liked. Their cannoli is amazing.

Coffee - I ordered a cappuccino with no flavoring. The cappuccino was very rich and almost had a hint of chocolate flavors. This shop uses coast roast. Coast Roast is a local coffee and tea company originating out of Long Beach Mississippi. Coast Roast has provided quality coffee across the gulf coast.

Christ - this bakery also doubles as a gift shop. You can take home pre boxed confections or qualify trinkets. I wanted to buy just about everything the offered. Great place of gifts especially if you are looked for a Christian themed gift.

Comfort - I don’t think I got a picture of it, but there were plenty of places to sit. A round table surrounded by single sofa seats and an assortment of tables and chairs. The bathroom also gets an A+. Clean bathroom and fully stocked.

Went to this location (190) for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and the cleanliness of the business. Warm and welcoming is how I would describe and I am sure I will return to try their lunch specials. Initially, I ordered twenty (20) fruit filled fried pies, not realizing they had a proper name. Pookie pies----filled the deal. Decided 20 were not enough. Ordered ten more. Had called with the initial order on Tuesday. The staff is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Once I completed my order and transaction, the staff shared with me about the rewards program. Thoroughly satisfied with the product, the service, the staff, and the building. I will be back with friends, SOON.

Im not a local, so maybe my expectations are different for a pastry shop, but this place is definitely a no for me. We didnt enjoy any of the desserts we had, we bought 2 different danishes, one apple one strawberry both tasted like lemon. Cupcakes were desert dry and smelled weird, like a refrigerator smell, I refused to eat. The brownie was just ok, took one bite from petitfour and didnt finish.

The decorating on the cake was okay. The cake was picked up early, out for about 5 hours before the party, and was still very cold inside. I asked it not to be refrigerated. I asked for buttercream and strawberry for the filling but they only did the strawberry, which soaked a bit into the cake and no braces were put to hold the layers together. After the first cut the top layer slid off to one side ( no fixing it). It was supposed to be almond cake but had no flavor at all. A $50 cake, I had 3/4 left over and nobody was interested in taking any home. That was a first! I won’t order again, sorry.

Whatever they've got on the shelves or in the cooler, you can bet it's going to be fresh and delicious! Stopped to get an eclair and left with so much more! Wish they would open a Slidell location.
