Caribou Coffee

Obviously recently opened, but there just seemed to be a lack of order. It took a few minutes to give them my order at the drive thru, then, 5-10 minutes sitting at the window with no one acknowledging us, and barely an interaction when we were finally handed our drinks. The old Caribou location this one replaced was much more efficient and friendly. Hope they can get there for next time we are in town.

I love Einstein bagels but this is the fourth time In a row have been there that I ask for 1 egg and I get no egg. I usually never get drinks there but wanted to try the hoho mint mocha cooler and it was just gross, I think I’ll just continue with scooters or Starbucks.

Our order was messed up and I got the wrong bagel type. The place felt pretty overwhelmed with what looked like a typical number of people for a weekend morning. I've been to many Einstein's before, but this one didn't live up to the others. I prefer other bagel shops.

I just left the drive thru. Not a terrible experience, but it was not great. I asked for cream and sugar on the side. Dude at the window hands me a whole cup of milk with no lid. Didn’t leave room for cream in the cup of coffee. Coffee tastes like its been sitting in a pot for days. It’s undrinkable. There were 5 employees doing a one person job in the window. I won’t return.

I REALLY want to love this place. My girlfriend and I moved to West Des Moines from New York and we didn't think we'd find a good bagel place. Good news is that the bagels are good, the bad news is the service here rivals the service at the DMV. It is unbelievably bad. In fact, Sunday mornings here might be worse than the DMV on a Friday before a 3 day weekend

A cold brew and bagel shouldn't take 20 minutes to prepare. In fact, it's strange that the toasted bagel arrives before the cold brew. How the eff does it take longer to pour coffee from a pitcher, over ice?

If you want good bagels and have the day off to wait for the staff to figure out how to pour a cold brew, come to this place. If you have any deadlines for the day at all, go elsewhere for coffee and bagels

Poor service even when slow always takes at least 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. The employees looked like it was their first day and had no idea what was going on.
Update: lately I have been finding pieces of egg shells in the cooked egg. Be careful when eating about broke my tooth chomping on many egg shells in one bite

The place was understaffed for breakfast. They provide your food/drink by singing out your name half the time and what you ordered the other half. So if you are waiting for the vegetarian sandwich but they thought you ordered something with bacon on it, you'll be waiting a long time before it all gets figured out. They corrected the error quickly and the sandwich was delicious.

Great variety. Their whole wheat bagels are great. Highly recommend!

I have always preferred Caribou over Starbucks. Until this location opened. I will literally drive an additional 5 minutes out of my way to get a coffee from somewhere else. Don't get me wrong. There are definitely times when this location would get a 5 star review from me, but it's the inconsistency that drives me bonkers. Sometimes I get a friendly employee and sometimes I barely get a "Hello" or a "Thank you". They've messed up my drink more times than I can count and it's time I wrote this review.
