Just went through the drive thru and was given a hot drink when I ordered iced. Not a big deal, happens at coffee shops. They give me it iced and it literally tastes like milk and sugar. Not even the faintest taste of coffee. When I come here it’s always very hit or miss. I tried to call multiple times after this experience and no one answered the phone. Multiple times we have came to the window and seen the women making drinks and bickering and raising their voices at each other. Seems like this team needs to get it together.

Moving from Minnesota, I was thrilled to see Caribou in Des Moines. Unfortunately this one lacks training. The building is clean and looks as expected for Caribou, but staff struggles to make the drinks correct. Would love to see corporate trainers come in for training before it's too late for this location.

I love caribou but I'll never do this location again.
I sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes. No one in front of me, no one behind me. I could see the order screen.
The two, then three women working came and checked the computer three times then looked around confused and walked off..

Favorite coffee shop to go to but hate that they now close at 6pm instead of 8pm. Still a great place for coffee

I've had good service at this location most of the time but the last two visits have been less than satisfactory. I work nights so I get my coffee around closing time, but that's no excuse for the lack of plant-based creamer alternatives. To add insult to injury the cashier failed to ask for and register my Caribou Points on both purchases and he refused to rectify the mistake when I inquired about it.

The manager of this location is absolutely amazing. I have been to every Caribou location in the metro dating back 10 yrs. This location is by far the best. She has done a fantastic job setting the standard for fantastic customer service. All of her employees are amazing and she herself is amazing. I will go out of my way to come to this location because I know my order will be perfect and will be greeted with amazing customer service.

When we arrived to the drive through we thought they might be closed because the barista did not welcome us for a good solid minuet- maybe two. We thought maybe they were packed inside so no big deal.
We ordered one medium hot cocoa with almond milk. We pulled up to the window and waited AT LEAST 6 minutes (minimum) for our one drink. I thought, okay that’s fine every one is understaffed and she’s probably the only one working.
We finally got our drink. It was not hot at all. Hardly warm.
We looked through the window as we drove off only to find that the entire place was empty.
This was very irritating to me as I just spent $4.00 on a cold hot chocolate for what appeared to be no reason at all.
Should have just gone to Starbucks or even the gas station!

Before I rate this I must tell you that I'm a coffee freak and get rewards from 5 different coffee shops.
Caribou is closest to where I live. They are solid. I love how the location on Ingersoll is open until 7. Best coffee shop open after 5 pm.
I love the malted mocha. You get to choose which kind of chocolate you want. For me it's always Dark chocolate. The Carmel Highrise and Turtle are also very good. I love how my malted mocha is served with chocolate covered Espresso beans.
