Great coffee and friendly service. The barista made my coffee with love and really tried to get to know me while I waited. You can tell how much he loves his job abs it’s so contagious! What a great way to start your day with a good cup of coffee and friendly conversation. Can’t ask for anything more here!

Daisy Chain Coffee is just wonderful! Make a stop for a bright atmosphere, tasty coffee, and exceptional service. Bonus- it’s attached to Raygun which is definitely worth the time to wander through with your latte in hand!

Cute little coffee shop in Des Moines’ unique and urban East Village neighborhood, near the state capitol.

Perfect place to work remotely, study, read or relax. The cafe is next to Raygun’s with a door between the store and the cafe — this makes Daisy Chain extra cool because you can buy some cool stuff right next door.

I recommend their espresso, Italian-style macchiato or an iced prickly pear latte.

Great little cafe attached to Raygun. Really awesome barista, Daniel, who interacts with every customer who come in.

The mocha and the matcha are fantastic.

HIGHLY recommend! Great vibe with cool decor. Downtown gem.

I enjoyed Mars Coffee before in this location, but since it has switched over to Daisy Chain Coffee, I have found that I love this shop even more. This coffee shop is run by the nicest guy and the shop itself seems to have so much more character & charm; I completely enjoy the bee and honey theme throughout the shop. In addition to your caffeinated beverage of choice, you can also snag coffee beans, chocolate bars, danishes, and local honey.

Stopped here while walking my dog around East Village. It's really hot out so I got a honey lemonade with a bit of seltzer in it. Super refreshing and totally hit the spot. I also ordered a decaf cortado. I know, I'm weird. From this visit I've decided that this is THE BEST tasting decaf coffee I've had and I'm not bouncing off the walls. A lot of places have really gross decaf beans, or decaf that still has a pronounced level of caffeine. Decaf and caffeinated should taste indistinguishable except for a little more acidity in the decaf. It all depends on how they remove the caffeine. They're obviously doing it right at Daisy Chain! Highly recommend!

I hadn't visited this spot since it was a satellite location for Mars. Daisy Chain has a similar layout, but the menu feels more thoughtful and is more focused on the honey produced by the owner. I order their pistachio latte and it was the perfect afternoon treat.
