This is my favorite place to get a cup of coffee and I am going to miss it when I have to move. If you come here don't forget to try a dirty hippie. Their flavor combinations like thin mint are pretty good too.

Excellent staff. Good coffee (pretty impressed) iced milky way is amazing. Nice selection of food. Prices are reasonable. Much better under new ownership.

I have been going to the cup for years, and it is my favorite coffee shop in Muncie. It has a great aesthetic and local art. The food and drinks are delicious and creative. The staff is fun to interact with, and always willing to joke around. In Muncie, a lot of people do not like the Cup, because they are often rude to people who bring outside food and drink, or sit at their restaurant without paying for anything. However, would it be acceptable to use any other facilities without paying for them? I believe The Cup gets a bad rap, because cheap people, use their resources unfairly.

I used to be a regular customer visiting about 3 times per week. I will never visit them again after being so rudely treated and witnessing what are probably health code violations. I was yelled at and accused of playing games for calling ahead because they were consistently out of baked goods in the morning. While stopping there on my way to work some days i didn't have time to go to another place.

You should also avoid their cooked items after finding hairs one day in my bagel and noticing they didn't take precautions to prevent it. So I go to concannons or Jacks...or the village pantry. I will never use them again.

One of the worst places you could get coffee. sat in the dining area for about 15 minutes because I was waiting for a friend. We were going to get coffee and work on a project together. An employee (I am assuming he was a manager) came up to me and asked me if I wanted anything. I told him not now, I am waiting for a friend. He told me that if I was not going to get anything, then I had to leave. He rudely said "Is this new to you? Do you think you can come to a restaurant and not order anything? That's called loitering." I would have ordered my coffee then if he was polite, but because he was so rude, I just left. I had every intention of ordering, but I wanted to wait for my friend. He lost potential business because of his rudeness. Used to love The Cup, but don't think I want to go there anymore. I understand that loitering is a problem, but that attitude is uncalled for, especially when you do not listen to your customers. Such a shame

Staff is VERY rude and food is inconsistent

The owner is so nice and really gets to know everyone. If I don't know what I want, staff will always chef up something spectacular for me. Love this place.

Used to like the cup, but got tired of high prices, rude workers, slow service, and excessive grease. Also, apparently despite being a repeat customer for 4 years I can't leave my bike at The Cup if I have more business in the village. I have to take it with me. What a petty gesture. Glad I mean nothing to the business at all. Never going back.
